Thankfully all the strength training paid off today 💪 I’m very grateful for the two very kind younger male and female people today. To be honest most people around here are lovely and very helpful. It’s a good community.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

What a complete nightmare. I'm sorry to hear about it and I know even spare batteries can weigh a lot so I dread to think what an occupied scooter weighs. For the future, are there any accessible taxis in your area? Not that that solves the problem of what to do with the scooter.

I hope the rest of the day was peaceful and you've been able to relax this evening. You really are amazing, and your strength training has clearly paid off.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Another weekend gone in a flash ☹️
Took the dog on the park this morning and did another litter pick. Then did some weeding and garden tidying as the weather was so lovely. Some washing dried and ironed.Gave the kitchen, dining room and hall floors a good scrub while Mr SA had his siesta.Mr SA took the dog out and came back having accidentally stolen a lurex crop top from the charity shop. He had been browsing in there on his scooter and it must’ve caught on the back, he didn’t realise until he got home. He unbelievably thought I might want to keep it. Told him that at no stage in my life would I have ever worn a lurex crop top! He then asked if DD wanted it!!
Anyway it’s down to me to return it unsurprisingly 😐
Made a batch of parsnip, carrot, leek and lentil soup for work lunches.Tonight’s dinner was air fried salmon with stir fried veg.Money wise, today was NSD1 of November. Still not done the payday shuffle but will combine it with the usual Monday finance check.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
You mean you're not wearing that on your walks into work, @Sun_Addict?
My Mum once accidentally 'stole' a Christmas tree decoration from a shop when it caught on the base of her basket. She was too mortified to return it but felt it would be completely wrong to keep it, so guess who became the recipient of the purloined item? Yes, me! Well over 3 decades later, I still have it & hang it on our tree every year, where it's still.known as "the decoration Mum accidentally robbed from JL!"

Accidentally stole a lurex crop top 🤣. Sounds like just the thing for a work Christmas party - go on - you know you want to 🥳3

Oh Mr SA 😂
Sorry you have to deal with it, but with all the difficulties you face, Mr SA accidentally stealing a lurex crop top is a top tier anecdote 😁
Well done for all your Sunday productivity and the NSD3 -
Sorry SA, but that's hilarious!
