That's Tuesday done.
Thanks to the clocks going back I've been waking up at 3.30 instead of 4.30 ready to get up. This also means I'm ready to go to sleep at 8pm. I hate it when the clocks go forward/back it always throws me out for a few weeks.
Worked in the office until lunchtime then came home. No stopping off at Lid! as I have a Mr M delivery arriving shortly. In theory it should be my last office day this week but I need to go in Thursday afternoon for a meeting. However this has worked quite well as it will be my only chance until Monday to go to Lid! so I'll be able to nip in on the return journey. Can't let that £5 off voucher slip through my fingers 😆
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work, hooping to today's dance challenge and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is the final portion of veg chilli from freezer stocks with baked sweet potato and salad.

Another one who always suffers clocks-changing jetlag here! It is embarrassing how often I'm looking at the clock and going 'that can't be right' 😁
Absolutely get that £5 voucher use 🥂3 -
Morning all (just!)
Working from home today.
Actually woke up at the normal time of 4.30 so maybe my body clock is adjusting. I decided to do my morning meditation from bed as when I do it downstairs the dog usually gets up and I have to let her out which somewhat interrupts any peaceful flows. The meditations only last 5-6 minutes and can you believe the young cat came in the bedroom halfway through and tried to jump on the bed which upset the dog. I think I'm destined not to get a few minutes peace!
Mid-week budget check done. I'm in the process of jiggling budget pots about a bit to reflect the pay rise and also to take into account the final full mortgage/overpayment comes out of next months' pay then there'll be just be around £80-ish to come out of December's pay. I want the extra money to be utilised rather than spent as I'm very aware I'm shortly entering my final full year of working.
I've just had an email from the vets to say the young cat's monthly plan is going up by £1. I've also read this week's MSE email about 02 sim only plan going up and Sp0tify, both of which I have so need to look into.
It won't be a NSD as I'm having my nails done for the wedding this afternoon.
Today's exercise so far has been yoga and dog walking. Later it will be walking to/from the beauty salon and a salsacise class in place of Zumba later.
Tonight's dinner is the smoked basa with cauliflower, leeks and lentil rice I make quite often.

Hopefully your body clock is adjusting to the clocks going back , I feel out of sorts for a week or so no matter what way they change . And when you go to bed early you really don't want to lose the little bit of relaxation you get in the evening. Hope all goes well for the wedding and you get a nice dry day xx3

I was so cross reading that about 02 and I'm not even with them! There really isn't anything companies won't do to be little bar stewards if there's a few quid in it for them, is there
Funnily enough I was considering swapping to them, absolutely not now!3 -
Morning all, happy Friday eve.
Also payday and wedding eve for me.
Working from home until lunchtime then heading to the office for a meeting that's better done with 3 screens rather than 2. Works out quite well for me as I need to go to Lid! and I pass it on the way home. It also ticks another been in the office box.
Today's exercise is a strength training session before I head off to the office, walking to/from work and the dance challenge.
Tonight's dinner is another recipe from the PON slow cooker book: Slow Cooker Sweet Potato and Peanut Butter Stew. Mr SA is having chicken hotpot cooked in another slow cooker. I won't feel like cooking by the time I get home so this is an ideal option.
The dog got up at the same time as me again this morning, looks like this is her new routine. She's barking for Mr SA to get up now as I'm in my office🤣

Happy Halloween 🎃
Finally DS’s big day is here. DIL was going over to her mum’s at 5am to get ready.Mr SA decided last night he needs a smart jacket for today 😖 I’m afraid he’ll have to look in the CS as there’s no time to go anywhere else. The taxi is coming at 10.45 and we need to take the dog out and get ready! Ceremony is at 12 and we need to be there for 11.30.I ended up not going to the office yesterday as I got really busy trying to clear my inbox of urgent requests before the meeting and couldn’t justify losing the hour plus it would take me to get there.
We still went to Lid! as Mr SA was looking forward to it 🤷♀️ I didn’t want to go as it was getting dark and it’s a long walk. But it’s done now. There was a large gang of teenagers setting bangers off on the pavement where people were walking past right outside the shop where they’d bought them 🤬 We had to cross the road as it was too dangerous to walk past them. Fortunately the dog isn’t bothered by fireworks.I’m looking forward to the wedding but also apprehensive because we’ve never met DIL’s family. Desperately hoping Mr SA won’t have one of his 💩 flare ups. Taking him a change of clothes just in case.Payday today, have glanced at the bank account but no money shuffling today. I know where everything is going it’s all set up on my spreadsheet so it’s not a big job.
Also Halloween 👻 We’ll be arriving back home just around the time the trick or treaters will be hitting the area but no plans to participate this year. After a full on day I won’t feel like getting up and down to the door. The drive gates will be locked I’m afraid. I haven’t bought sweets anyway so there’s nothing to give out.See you on the other side.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
