Another weekend gone in a flash 😞
Saturday I returned the running sash to Am@zon as it wasn’t right for my needs. Mr SA wanted to keep it for his scooter - for goodness sake it’s a running sash 🤷♀️
First Christmas present of the year bought yesterday as picked up a set of mini rum bottles for part of Mr SA’s present. Mr T have some good offers on alcohol gift sets at the moment so worth a look.Managed to get some garden tidying done yesterday as the weather was pretty decent. The garden waste bin is full to the brim.
Mr SA has done nothing but sleep this weekend, getting up after 9am then going back to bed after lunch. He’s blamed it on the jabs.
DD was at work today so managed to give the kitchen and bathroom a good clean. Mr SA was asleep but appeared seconds after I’d mopped the kitchen floor and shuffled outside in the rain despite me asking him not to 😖
I made a batch of spiced butternut squash soup for work lunches. Tonight’s dinner was air fried salmon with air fried baby potatoes and steamed veg. Last night it was beetroot burger with salad.Made a meal plan for the coming week. Got a couple of new recipes to try.Today’s exercise has been dog walking, an Afrobeat dance workout from YT and a mobility stretching session also from YT. Plus hooping to 2 songs from the dance challenge. Yesterday it was walking to/from Mr T and gardening.Enjoyed a nice soak in the bath with a face pack.Leftover Prosecco from Saturday for the Strictly results. And finally got another NSD in the bag today.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Yay for productivity, returns money, Christmas shopping, pampering and leftover prosecco 🥂3

Mr SA could well be right about the jabs making him tired. The day after my flu jab I felt dreadful, no energy, couldn't get warm, headache & very tired. Hoping the covid one on Tuesday is better.Making the debt go down and savings go up

When my foot is back to normal I will be starting a dance class locally. There is a very popular one here. Hoping it will help with my mood and energy through the winterIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Here we are back to Monday again.
Worked in the office until just after lunchtime, doing the afternoon shift from home.
I'm trying to get into the habit of doing a short morning meditation/affirmation every day and managed to do a quick 7 minutes one from the FitOn app before I left for work. It was very motivating.
Mr SA started with the phone calls asking what time I was coming home just after I'd got into the office!
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home, spent less than £5.
Usual Monday finance check done and cc balance cleared.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and a live strength training class tonight.
Tonight's dinner is scampi, sweet potato wedges and salad. The Spiced Pumpkin Soup I made for lunch was a new recipe and it's really tasty. I used squash instead of pumpkin, swapped the coconut milk for almond milk and made it in my soup maker rather than a pan - I never follow a recipe properly 😆
