I used up leftover veggies too. The vegbox gave me Chinese leaf. I doing really like it but stuck it in a curry and it was lovely. Enjoy the AGM meetIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I'm not sure I'd put the words AGM and enjoy in the same sentence - endure maybe 🤣 There's very little social chat it's basically we're here to discuss the park not to chit-chat. Anyone who goes off topic soon gets cut short, it's like being at work 😆
In money news I've moved £2k into the emergency fund from the matured regular saver. I had to check I'd got the right account numbers several times before I pressed the send button in the banking app. I know it's the right account so it's just me being paranoid. The remaining balance has been moved to the current account to cover DS's wedding present and any associated expenses. Then I closed the poor interest account the savings had been moved to.
Also received the £25 survey money from Opinium so that's been set aside to go towards my next catch up with friends.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
ha ha.....I am the same with making sure I had the right acc numbers before pressing buttons. Wanted to amend the transfers that go direct from the current account each week when DH gets paid, and I cancelled the ones to the old savings pots and then set up the new one, and had to double check. I am the same when I do any sort of online order though, making sure I have the correct card linked etc. Think I possibly have too many savings pots now, that are sitting empty, so might close some of them.Sun_Addict said:I'm not sure I'd put the words AGM and enjoy in the same sentence - endure maybe 🤣 There's very little social chat it's basically we're here to discuss the park not to chit-chat. And that’s another working week gone by in a flash.Worked in the office today but finished at 1pm as I had to return the clothes Mr SA didn’t want to MnS, go to Lid! then take the shopping and work bag back home before going back out again to get our flu jabs at the chemists. Mr SA also had his Covid jab. I wasn’t sure whether they’d give him the Covid jab free with the new rules on who qualifies but they did because he’s had a stem cell transplant. At the park volunteer meeting last night I found I’d won a green community award for litter picking and received a lovely trophy and a pot of locally produced honey. I only use honey in the odd recipe but it will be handy to have in.Mr SA is happy with the slightly smaller trousers and bigger top and as mentioned above the original order has been returned. So thankfully he’s now sorted for DS’s wedding 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)11
