Morning all happy Friday 😎
Just sat in Caffè Nero enjoying my free coffee before heading for the train. Looking forward to seeing my friends.Mr SA still doesn’t know where I’m going. He was sound asleep when I left this morning. I’ll let him think I’m at work until he starts calling to ask what time I’m leaving usually around 1pm😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

Thank you all 🥰
I had a lovely day with my friends. I might have bought a new handbag from the little boutique in my friend’s market town 😬 The owner always gives me a discount. The bag will be fab for DS’s wedding - that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it 🤣
I had the most amazing avocado and chilli flatbread for lunch it was absolutely delicious. We’ve already booked in a catch up for next month. The friend that lives a bit closer said when I retire we could have the odd day trip out together which would be lovely. She’s quite a bit older than me but still very fit and healthy.Mr SA phoned when I was on the train home and was shocked when I told him where I was. He met me outside Lid! and was angry about me being out with friends when I won’t even take him for a coffee. Then he started on a feeling sorry for himself rant. Told him come Monday morning when my alarm is going off at 4.30 and I’m walking to work in the dark with a heavy backpack on while he’s fast asleep nice and cosy in bed I’ll remind him how hard done by he is.
Picked up the free big bag of potatoes from Lid!
I had leftover harissa chickpea tofu concoction from yesterday for dinner tonight.Today’s exercise was 25,630 steps. It might’ve been a bit more but my watch is on charge so not counted.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
So glad you had a lovely day. Maybe you should wake Mr SA up some mornings and show him how dark & wet it is...invite him to come out on his scooter & walk you to work. He'll soon change his mind then.
That's a brilliant amount of steps.
