I think my best Primani buy was a coat many years ago. It was a velveteen material with a fur collar. I paid £10 for it and it lasted me years as a going out coat.  I was quite sad when it got too tatty even for everyday.
Good luck with the shopping and enjoy the coffee.

@Sun_Addict, I was surprised that you order currency. Is it too awkward to withdraw some when you are away?

I've taken to using cashpoints for a bit of cash and putting money in my debit card accounts for overseas spending so I can withdraw that. I do find you see less cashpoints now though. Need to find banks.

I wondered if I'm missing something by doing that and if there's a reason you don't do it?

Don't know about all banks, but I know some will charge you if you withdraw cash abroad. I always order currency before travelling.....Not that we've been abroad for years now though, but I still would order it if we did.

@katsu we always take currency. Where we’re going next week there have been bad reports about some of the cash points and I just don’t want the hassle. It gets locked in the safe and I just take out that day’s allowance.

That's it isn't it? You just never know if a cash point will be working, or where they all are.

Hey SA - I’ve taken your warning on about the Banca March cash machine on the strip - you are right it has a bad reputation so thank you for the heads up.

as it’s attached to a bank branch we have decided to go inside to get our cash when we go at the end of the month - we only pull out what we need on a daily basis as our Chase card gets perfect rates (last time it was €1.13 per £1) and acts like a debit card with no fees/commission.

And I feel safer not carrying much cash - I know you keep yours in a safe and completely understand your reasons for doing so.

For us, we leave our chase account virtually empty and just move money across to it on the app as we need it whilst on the go. It works for us - each to their own and all that 😊👍🏻

you will have to let me know if you discover any new restaurants/recommendations - I told my colleague about the Good Old Days bar restaurant and they absolutely loved it! They are travelling back today.

At least you’ll be able to spot him in a crowd 😁
I was thinking the same 🤣 I'm assuming that cold hard cash works better for Mr S_A's flights of fancy regarding his shopping wants. It must be easier than using the seemingly unlimited source of junk buying that is a debit/credit card?
