Ooh lots of great freezing things tips there 😊
That's the back of the working week broken. Worked in the office until lunchtime then finished up from home.
Two more working days to go 😁
Not a NSD as I needed to pick up bread from Lid! although one of the loaves was the free one for spending £50. Also picked up a couple of magazines to read on the flight to save me faffing around at the airport. I like a mixture of things to do when I'm flying so always have a couple of magazines, a book, podcasts/playlists and something to watch downloaded. I don't really enjoy flying so like to keep occupied and I can't fall asleep like some people do. I've been saving the final two episodes of Happy Valley for the flight so that should keep me occupied for a good part of it.
Tonight's dinner will be a stir fry so that will use up yet more fridge stocks, not that much left now.
Exercise today was walking to/from work 18,000 steps plus Zumba at 6pm so will be well over 20,000 in total.
Money wise an oddment of £2.04 has been sent to the Christmas pot.

Morning, happy Thursday.
WFH today.
Another lovely sunny day so have two loads of washing out on the line.
Today's exercise is dog walking and a lunchtime stretch & tone class. Aiming for 15,000 steps so might have to throw in a Get Fit with Rick session after work.
Mr SA has a check up at the doctors for people with long term conditions this morning. Hopefully they're not trying to get him off their books as he's too expensive!
I've got some root veg to use up so going to bung it in the slow cooker with some pearl barley. The fridge will be empty soon 😆
I still haven't booked the airport taxis so will do that this morning. I'm making a list of everything I need to do by close of play Saturday as I'm convinced I'm going to forget something.
In money news had the monthly update from Octopus and now down to just under £200 in credit. Hopefully as the weather starts to get warmer (she says hopefully) credit will start building up again. Paid up the 1p saver pot until the end of the month. Today should be NSD 5 for April and will definitely be the last one, not done so well this month.

Hope Mr SA's Dr appt goes well.
Sunny here today at last, but still a chilly wind. I agree it will be nice to get more credit on the energy bills.

Definitely got a lovely sunny day in our neck of the woods today, @Sun_Addict, haven't we? I'm just finishing a few indoor tasks, then I intend to get around one of my big flower beds with the hoe. Good for step-count too, all that to & fro-ing & puffing.
I think our Octopod missive will land tomorrow. I'm with you on the credit. Defo time to rebuild it. 5 months till October when we generally put our heating back on, & 3 extra weeks here given that ours has been switched off since the end of the 1st week of April. I wish I could believe we are going to see price-drops, but I am a big cynic where this entire industry is concerned, so am going for the credit-building route.

He wasn’t kicked off the books 😆 I remember his consultant being insistent he wouldn’t be discharged from hospital without a full time carer as he’d cost several thousands, blood, sweat and tears to save 😆
@beanielou what a thing to say to you 😡
I finally booked the airport taxis. Also booked Mr SA a scooter for Zante, the people we usually use have retired but thankfully these have taken over. Blooming expensive at €150 for the week plus £50 refundable deposit. Lanzarote is €98 and no deposit. Needs must though and it’s worth it to be able to get about and not have to take the wheelchair.Painted my toenails tonight so another pre holiday job done. Having gel colour on my hands done Saturday at a local salon as DIL isn’t doing nails at the moment due to her health condition and being unable to focus properly.Got a really busy day at work tomorrow with a big important meeting I’m minuting which is typical on my last day 😬 Hopefully will be able to finish once the minutes are written up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
SA if I don't get back on here before the weekend, have a wonderful holiday. I fly Tuesday and it can't come soon enough. Sounds like you have everything ready for the off ☀️☀️☀️.
