@amber03 I turned off alerts on my phone at the height of Covid because I really didn’t want to know if I’d been within a goodness how many miles radius of someone who tested positive.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Morning, happy Tuesday.
WFH today. Mr M delivery has been and all packed away. No subs or missing items. £2 off dairy so got a piece of cheese for free. Only a smallish order this week as we don't need a lot. DD buys her own food. Stocked right up on pet food though as they seem to get through more when DD is feeding them!
Today's exercise is a goal of 15,000 steps including taking the dog on the park for a run, a bums & tums class at lunchtime and resistance bands class tonight.
I'm going to get everything out of the fridge to see what needs to be used up this week and do a mini meal plan around it. There's half a bag of spinach to use so thinking about making Spanish style butterbean stew for tonight's dinner, one of my favourites.
A load of bedding is already out on the washing line and towels are currently in the machine. Also need to clean the bathroom. I'm determined not to be rushing around cleaning on Saturday.
I must book the airport taxis today.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
You are getting very close to holidays if you're eating up the fridge stuff.
You can always put that bag of spinach in the freezer - it will be fine for cooking, just not for salads. Personally I'd be having butterbean stew though, as a foretaste of holidays!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I freeze the odds and ends of fresh spinach for use in smoothies too. This morning though the banana, berries, and spinach were all frozen leftovers, and as a result it was a bit more of a slushie! Had to wait until it was a bit melted to drink it!
Hope you have a lovely holiday SA!5 -

Frozen bananas are ace for cooking with - just peel, deposit ion a bowl to defrost and they mash up easily. I always shove them in the freezer if we have one going over - getting around to using them however is another thing entirely - I think I've got 4 in there at the moment of various vintages!
