@amber03 I turned off alerts on my phone at the height of Covid because I really didn’t want to know if I’d been within a goodness how many miles radius of someone who tested positive.

You are getting very close to holidays if you're eating up the fridge stuff. :)

You can always put that bag of spinach in the freezer - it will be fine for cooking, just not for salads. Personally I'd be having butterbean stew though, as a foretaste of holidays!

I freeze the odds and ends of fresh spinach for use in smoothies too. This morning though the banana, berries, and spinach were all frozen leftovers, and as a result it was a bit more of a slushie! Had to wait until it was a bit melted to drink it!
Hope you have a lovely holiday SA!
Never tried freezing banana, does it work well?

Frozen bananas are ace for cooking with - just peel, deposit ion a bowl to defrost and they mash up easily. I always shove them in the freezer if we have one going over - getting around to using them however is another thing entirely - I think I've got 4 in there at the moment of various vintages!

Can't believe how fast your holiday is coming round SA - exciting!
