Glad you put Mr SA right! Shame he didn't volunteer to help out more."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

A bit unfair to begrudge you that small pleasureIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

A very reasonable response to Mr SA.
And I presume when you say 'we'll be all packed up for Ibiza' you mean you and the dog 😁https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

I was going to say that's Monday almost done then realised it's Tuesday, I'm all over the place with my days this week 🤣
Worked in the office until 11 and back home to finish up. Not back in the office now until Friday.
Stopped at Lid! on the way home, Mr SA has a free doughnut, still got another birthday doughnut to pick up then that's all the free bakery items claimed. Bought two more ornamental grasses - hopefully not to be squashed by the cat!
Also claimed my free coffee and a birthday freebie of banana loaf.
Received a 15% off code for the airport lounge so have booked it. It's so much easier to park Mr SA in there with unlimited coffee and bacon rolls while I have a look round the shops. It would be cheaper just to buy food/drinks in the airport, although probably not that much, but worth it for no queuing or pushing a wheelchair around trying to avoid the queues at the departure gates.
Mr M delivery has just been and all packed away.
Finances checked and cc balance paid off.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and it's resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of veggie chilli from freezer stocks with a baked potato and side salad.

I've been the same as you with disorientation because of the Bank Holiday SA. I phoned my pedicure salon yesterday a few times yesterday to book an appointment and wondered why they weren't answering. I then realised it was the holiday and they weren't working....
The airport lounge sounds like it will pay for itself in less worry for you at the airport. As you say, you can leave Mr SA happily munching his bacon rolls and you can have a nice wander round the shops.Glad to hear he got his free doughnut!🍩Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Morning all, what day is it 😆
WFH today.
The GP surgery kept hassling me for a blood pressure check as I haven't had one for years (before the pandemic). They kept sending me texts which I wasn't 100% sure were above board as they invited me to click on a link so I didn't respond. Eventually they called me and booked me an appointment with the nurse for this morning. When you think how hard it is to get an appointment and my surgery have hounded me for this! I'd got myself all stressed about this as I was convinced they were trying to find something wrong as I don't have any health conditions or take any meds which they seem to think is unusual at my age. Anyway despite my heart beating 19 to the dozen my blood pressure was fine.
Today's exercise has been yoga first thing, walking to/from the doctors, I'm going to do something from YT later as Zumba isn't on tonight.
On the way back from the GPs I spotted Mr SA going into the charity shop so decided to catch him in the act. He was looking at man bags and wallets when I caught him up 😐
Tonight's dinner is an old favourite Caribbean-style salmon bowl
Last night I booked and paid for the airport taxis, trying a different company this time as recommended by a neighbour. They're slightly cheaper than the usual taxi firm.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
