The Doogee phone sounds ideal for Mr SA @rachmac3. I've never (touches wood) broken a phone in all the years I've had them and still have all my old phones in pristine condition, some of them must be museum pieces by now 😆

I have to say I don't get much of the BP stuff.  My mother was on BP meds at 60 even though she went to the gym at least 3 times a week & several exercise classes every week.  I am now 79 & my BP so far is fine.  My DS in his early 40s, lives with me & eats what I eat/cook.  They have just insisted he has statins, so not a watch your diet & come back in 6 months & see how it is going, just you need them.

I think the animals plan these things @Sun_Addict my chicken is ill again and my dogs are due their check up and injections 3 days before I go on holiday. Given our past luck I'm going to ask if we can postpone for a week.

@Sun_Addict coming out of lurkdom to say how delighted I am you have booked the lounge for Mr SA. You deserve a lovely, relaxed time as the holiday begins. He'll be happy with coffee and bacon rolls, and you'll have some well-earned time to yourself. Don't ever feel guilty about spending money on that kind of treat. It's worth every penny.

Your tales about Mr F's holiday packing do make me smile. I also love how you have a sneaky look in his suitcase to check none of the surplus items on the wishlist have been snuck in. I have the opposite problem........trying to convince Mr F that when we book Autumn holidays in windswept UK coastal areas, it is very much NOT over-the-top to pack his waterproof coat!
