I’ve had a nice relaxing day today after 2 pretty full on days. We had originally planned to go out for lunch but neither of us fancied it in the end. Mr SA had a dodgy tummy from his overindulgence yesterday and I just wanted a pottering about day.Took the dog on the park this morning and then came home and tidied and cleaned up. After lunch I sat in my hanging chair and read my book with leftover Prosecco from last night.Couldn’t make my mind up what I wanted to eat tonight but have found a portion of the Greek Baker’s Pot I made earlier in the week in the fridge, it seems to be ok still so will probably have that.Happy there’s no work tomorrow so no Sunday scaries tonight 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I was wondering why one of my ornamental grasses wasn’t looking so well despite watering and put it down to the heat and lack of rain. Maybe not 🤣

Happy Birthday.
I had two of those cat beds last year. I don't have any this year...1 -
Thanks for all your posts about the plus card. I normally just look at the picture and think that's the only item you can have, but your posts have shown me the other options. I qualified for the crisps today and went for the 30 pack rather than my usual and saved the £3.99. Massive help to my budget.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x5 -
Happy Monday 🙂
What a beautiful day it’s been.Took the dog on the park this morning before it got too hot then spent the rest of the day pottering about doing bits of gardening and housework in between sitting in my hanging chair reading.Had a massive set to with Mr SA earlier as he was questioning why the hanging chair was my domain and it wasn’t fair. Reminded him why is it fair that I go to work full time, do all the housework, shopping, gardening and deal with the finances while he sits watching TV. Invited him to help out - yes I thought so no offer, I rest my case 😐 I have to have something that’s my space to regroup and relax because of all the stress he causes so why does he think it’s unfair on him 😡
Anyway…
Had to remove half a mouse from the garden this morning. I’ve never seen so many flies 🤢
Today’s exercise has been dog walking and generally pottering around. I’ve got a live kettlebell class later.Tonight’s dinner is vegan beetroot bourguignon from my Good Food app. Need to use some rainbow beetroot up from the veg box. New recipe so will see what it’s like. This week has to be all about using up odds and ends.
Back to work tomorrow but only for 4 days. This time next week we’ll be all packed up for Ibiza 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
