Thank you all for your birthday wishes 🥰
I’ve had a lovely day although have been busy shopping, cooking and clearing up. Mr SA has been living his best life eating, drinking and relaxing - anyone would think it was his birthday 😐
I bought loads of buffet type food from Mr T that Mr SA was eating almost as fast as I could put it out! I reminded him it was also for DS, DIL and the GKs.Spent a lot of time batting balloons about with DGS 😆 It was quite enjoyable actually.DD bought me a bottle of raspberry gin and DS bought me a lovely bottle of red wine.It has been noticed that SIL hasn’t sent me a card despite her always reminding Mr SA about BIL’s birthday the day after mine 😐 I posted his card a few days ago.When the visitors left I enjoyed an hour on my hanging chair with my current book. The rocking motion always makes me drift off though 🤣
Oh my days the courtesy scooter Mr SA has is lethal! He almost ran me over twice as the steering is all over the place. Good job we’re not planning on going far this weekend.Tonight’s dinner is veggie koftas with Greek style flatbread, sweet potato wedges and salad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
