Sending kind thoughts for your mum's anniversary. Judging by your story of her meeting you with comfy shoes after your night out she sounds like a wonderful lady.2

Morning all happy September 🍂
I was so busy yesterday I ran out of time to post.I put flowers on my mum’s grave. The headstone desperately needs a good clean. I took a cloth but it needs scrubbing. I couldn’t find the grave at first as there are so many newer ones surrounding it. I was wandering up and down saying mother where are you. Spotted a grave for someone I used to work with years ago.Went to Mr T afterwards as it’s very close by. Mr SA’s beer was on a good offer so stocked him up. I also picked him up a new T-shirt half price in the sale to hopefully shut him up about having nothing new to wear on holiday.Started to pack in the afternoon and discovered Mr SA had used up the fancy aftersun I got in a beauty box and put away for this holiday. He was using it as a moisturiser for his head 😞 Annoyed that he’d been rummaging in my wardrobe.
There were a few other toiletries needed so a trip to S@vers was had.Packing will be finished today.Took advantage of the free electricity hour to charge up the lawnmower battery, vacuum cleaner, iPad, phone, headphones, watch and Mr SA’s scooter. Also roasted some butternut squash for a curry and baked a banana loaf to use up 3 black bananas. Oh and did the ironing. I’ve never known an hour fly by so fast 😆Another hour’s free electricity this afternoon so will charge a few things up and do the steam mopping.Need to do my Monday finance check shortly. The last few days have been a bit spendy so need to reconcile the pots.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
That's an amazing amount to get done on free electricity!
Boo to Mr SA using up your nice after-sun, I reckon he owes you some to replace it.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Finished my hefty book 🥳 Not my usual genre but it was passed on to me by a friend and had been on my bookshelves for some time. It was ok. New book packed for holiday reading.Almost finished packing. Currently battling with Mr SA who had packed 4 pairs of shoes for 3 nights!! I had only packed one pair of sandals for walking in and travelling in the going out ones. He’s changed his mind 3 times which man bag he’s taking 😖
Cut the grass. Might do a bit more garden tidying if I get time.Plan to charge up my phone, iPad, watch and toothbrush in the free electricity hour. Will also air fry a piece of salmon for tonight’s planned stir fry. Also put the dishwasher and washing machine on a cleaning cycle. The scooter place brought Mr SA’s repaired scooter back. Glad to see the back of the courtesy one with the dodgy steering.Took the dog on the park this morning and did some litter picking. I mostly take this park for granted but was talking to someone who wasn’t from my area and she said what a lovely park and how lucky I am to live somewhere with so many nice parks. Made me see it and the other parks we have with fresh eyes. I did say yes the travellers like it here too 🤣 They’re still here and currently occupying the third park in as many weeks.Today’s exercise has been dog walking, pottering around the house and garden, strength training tonight and shouting at Mr SA!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
