Thank you for the recipe for Moroccan-styler stuffed aubergine - we had it today and it's a definite make-again. I might also make the filling bit as a cous cous if we have guests: there's a fair amount of chopping up but it's a worth it. And what's become of aubergines - none in L1dl and only small ones in T3sco, at 95p each.

Yes it is indeed very tasty. I'd make it again but just chop up the aubergine rather than take the flesh out.

    Morning all, almost Friday again.

Really noticing that the mornings are getting darker now. Had to switch the lights on this morning!

WFH today. I was up just after 5am and looking forward to a nice relaxing start to the day when DD got up and started clanking about in the kitchen. Then she was complaining as Mr SA was hogging the bathroom and she needed to clean her teeth before going to work.

Unfortunately Mr SA left the bathroom in a mess so I had to clear that up.

    Anyway...

It will be NSD 3 today. Quick check of finances done. On target for a small underspend on the grocery budget again this week. I still need to get a few bits but I'm prioritising what I already have in stock.

Today's exercise plan is dog walking (already done), a lunchtime kettlebells class, another short abs session and Zumba tonight. I've dusted off my weighted hoop and bringing that back into action again.

Trying a new recipe for tonight's dinner Chickpea, Tofu & Harissa Stew  - this is a Deliciously Ella recipe so if you're not a member you won't be able to see the ingredients just a photo. I have the app which I love as it not only has lots of vegan recipes it also has exercise and mindfulness sessions.

The decluttering is going well and yesterday I decluttered the rest of the chest of drawers in the bedroom. I got rid of several pairs of knickers and a few nighties I no longer wear. Rediscovered my old running top so that will get worn again over my exercise gear. I'm going to make a start on my wardrobe shelves next.

Today's housework task is cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. I've got two loads of washing out so will have quite a bit of ironing if it dries. It's cloudy but dry and windy so should do.

Perhaps he went to gloat over the fuses. After all, who knows what you might do if you got your hands on them?

Is your house full of hiding places? Your gin and fuses, and now 'his' fuses? While I think of it, if you put your gin under the mountain of man bags, he'd probably never find it.

How annoying about the slow cooker and the fuses.  Of course your poor delicate female sensibilities can't be trusted with these things.

It was you mentioning them on your diary that inspired me to give them another go. They’re not cheap but the quality is fantastic.

DD has replaced the slow cooker with a larger one as she wants to batch cook. I plan to keep a secret stash of fuses and screwdrivers 😆
