Afternoon all.
Worked in the office until lunchtime and now back home to finish up. That's 2 of my 3 days in the office box ticked and feels wonderful to know I'm not back in there again until Friday.
I decided to have another try of an organic veg box delivery, this one had a free cookbook. It arrived first thing this morning and I'm really pleased with it. The free cookbook is a proper hardback book. Everything looks great quality, so I'm pleased with it so far. I've set it for fortnightly to see how I go. Although I'd love to be able to grow everything myself it just isn't feasible at the moment with me working full time - it should be an easy task for Mr SA but I can't seem to get him motivated to do it. When I retire I'll be able to spend more time growing my own. The only thing in the box that I've already got home grown is spinach.
I've got a small Mr M delivery due to arrive any time now.

The holiday pot 6 months regular saver has matured today but I don't need it for the holiday so the interest has gone to the Christmas pot, £500 is going to the EF to go towards replacing the money I borrowed from it for the vet bill, £400 is being kept to one side for a few house bits needed such as the trellis, a new hosepipe, curtains, etc. The remaining £100 is going into my birthday pot as I've got a few things planned and will also have to buy my own present as Mr SA has definitely lost his present buying skills.
If anyone could recommend a good hosepipe please do so, not those expanding ones as they don't last 5 minutes. It needs to be at least 100ft long and on a reel.
My new backpack is brilliant and so much better than the old one. It's got loads of room in it and a proper slot for my laptop so I no longer have to use the bulky laptop case supplied by work. I was also very happy to find my thermos coffee mug fits in the bottle holder pouch on the side so no finding it upside down in my bag like before. £16.99 well spent.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and a live resistance bands class at 6.30. I'm going to have another go at the mindfulness session at 8pm.
Tonight's dinner is salmon and stir fried veg.

After replacing cheap hoses every year I invested in a hozelock about 4 years ago, one that's attached to the wall on a reel and you pull out. You can give it a tug and it retracts back in but I rarely do. It's survived 4 years of daily use, been stood on by humans and animals, been out in freezing temperatures and it's survived. Generally battered, dropped on the ground when I'm done with it. I do usually replace the sprayer after a year or so but probably because I leave it out in the freezing temperatures and drop it, and it gets little cracks in the harder plastic. I get the one with 5 or 7 spray options, tap for pet water, shower for plants and jet for cleaning the coops. I can definitely vouch for it's hardiness.

Great thank you @rachmac3 I’ll have a look at that one. I’m fed up of wasting money on those expanding ones that start leaking after a few weeks.
