DH had to start his prep on the morning before, when he had his last one, so he had to have day off work. When I drove him to the hospital on the day he was worried he wouldn't make it as it is about 40mins drive.

I was hoping for the photo of you in your statement necklace! Garden looks gorgeous though. I often have butterflies in my (very wild) garden but I've never seen so many different varieties all at once as I have this year, it's lovely isn't it 😊

Your garden is lovely @Sun_Addict! Such greenery and I love the hanging chair, I imagine it's such a peaceful spot to relax!

And we won’t talk about the faux pas with the Lid! free fruit item. Picked up the biggest pack of strawberries after checking they were included in the offer. Why oh why did I also pick up a pack of 69p satsumas forgetting that they would be the free item and not the £3.99 pack of strawberries 🤦‍♀️ So cross with myself. Another lesson learned the hard way.
I did the same with the medium strawbs and an avocado for 99p instead of £1.19 that was in front of us as we walked in. I even kept the strawbs on a second pile with the free dishwasher tabs etc so it wouldn't get mixed up! Also, many places don't let you use a voucher on something which isn't full price. I had also been burned on a single 25p lime vs a £2 punnet of apricots a few weeks back

Spent £150 last week there as got the hanging chair (partly because you enjoy yours so much) so I'm going to send them an email and suggest they change the vouchers. It would be better as an "up to £1.50 off fruit" or something - that could've messed up someone's budget if they had much tighter purse strings

I also mentioned it to the manager and I said I didn't think it was fair the way it had taken the avocado off, her response was "well, it's not up to me" - now I've worked in customer service and I'd say the manager is the exact person who may be able to just say, oh yes, fair point, I'll refund it this once.... because then I wouldn't be complaining on a national forum, would I?!

I think the sleeping thing is about the heat.  I've actually been having bad dreams, can't really call them nightmares but they are waking me up.  I don't mind it warm but 29 in my bedroom just too hot & I don't seem to be able to cool it down much.  I did manage to get downstairs down to 24 earlier but the draft was so bad everything started taking off.  I will soon be complaining that it is too cold.
