And we won’t talk about the faux pas with the Lid! free fruit item. Picked up the biggest pack of strawberries after checking they were included in the offer. Why oh why did I also pick up a pack of 69p satsumas forgetting that they would be the free item and not the £3.99 pack of strawberries 🤦♀️ So cross with myself. Another lesson learned the hard way.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Shame about the free item, it's such a nuisance when that happens - or the annoying converse that you have to make a separate trip to get the other fruit.
It's good that you at least have a diagnosis to work with, regarding Mr SA's issues. I hope he'll comply with whatever they recommend but it's awful when you know there's probably something going on and it gets brushed aside due to another condition.

Glad there's finally an answer for Mr SA.
That's annoying about the fruit, it's the sort of thing I do and then kick myself afterwards!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1 -
Glad Mr SA has finally got a diagnosis.
Annoying about the fruit2 -
Morning all.Just grabbing a quick coffee before I head over to the park event. I’ve been to litter pick so that’s done. The event starts at 11 and finishes at 3 but we have to set up/pack away. It’s going to be a long day! There’s a large glass of ice cold rose and a hanging chair with my name on reserved for around 4-ish 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

The event went really well and loads of attendees. Mr SA won a small bottle of Prosecco on the tombola which he donated to me. It was tiring being constantly on the go but worthwhile and I’m all peopled out now. I picked a huge bag of blackberries while I was litter picking this morning plus one of the stall holders was giving away free bags of frozen fruit at the end of the event so I grabbed a bag of mango and summer fruits. So with the free blackberries and free frozen fruit I feel I’ve more than made up for the faux pas with the fruit yesterday. The only spend today was £2.50 cash on a tub of whipped ice cream with strawberry sauce.Tonight’s dinner is pizza, wedges and salad.Enjoyed my hanging chair time - I fell asleep - I was exhausted 🤣
DS and the GKs didn’t make the event as DIL and DGD had camped out at Meadowhall overnight in the queue for Sephora to open and were still recovering. I think DGD has spent all her birthday money in there 😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
