Morning all, nearly Friday.
WFH again today. Enjoyed a leisurely start with coffee and my book.
I need to order the dog's tablets today so won't be a NSD. I bought the prescription from the vets yesterday so need to phone them with the order number.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking shortly, strength training at lunchtime and Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of veggie lasagne from freezer stocks with salad.
For some reason I got it into my head I hadn't cleared the cc statement balance in time and started panicking about paying interest. This was randomly in the middle of Zumba last night! I had to grab my phone and double check the app and of course I had. I've only ever had this happen once and that was years ago. I tend to clear the balance on a weekly basis so no idea why I thought I hadn't. Oh my days I'm going doo-lally 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Well I'm glad it was an unfounded fear SA! I think things like that are a mental throw-back to the days when things were a bit chaotic and perhaps out of control on the financial front, for me at least! In spite of knowing that I'd made payments to both our CCs and they were both as zero, I still felt the need to go and just double check this morning that all was well!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Finally got round to booking Mr SA a mobility scooter and wheeled walker for the Ibiza trip. Also dog's meds ordered and let the vets have the order no. Two niggly little jobs that needed doing but I kept putting off and only took a few minutes of my time.
Some time ago I asked Mr SA to help around the house while I was at work, just easy things like dusting and running the vacuum round. I even purposely bought a lightweight vacuum for this purpose. He declined saying they were 'womens jobs' and he wanted 'mens jobs' 😐 This morning he informed me the young cat had killed a wood pigeon and could I come and remove the body. I declined saying I only do 'womens jobs' and removal of dead pigeons is a 'mans job'. He's done it anyway.
