Went to the big Mr T this morning with the soft plastics - living the dream 🤣
It was raining so got a bit wet. Not complaining as it’s needed now we’ve been officially declared in drought here. Mr SA insisted on tagging along despite there being no need so also got wet.Tried another new recipe for lunch baked potato with creamy chickpea salad. The creamy bit was another new recipe for a salad dressing made with soya yogurt, garlic, herbs and lemon juice, it was delicious and there’s enough left for tomorrow’s lunch.Veggie burger, wedges and salad tonight. Plus the obligatory Saturday night Prosecco.Had to buy a new radio for the bathroom as the current one has been on the blink for a while and finally gave up altogether this morning. It’s several years old so moneys worth has been had.DS and the GKs visited. Can’t believe it’s DGD’s last day at primary school next Friday. Where are the years going!The neighbour has done a little more towards the fencing but obviously the rain has hindered progress. Mr SA has been ‘helping’ which has also probably hindered progress.My toe is a lot better today although very bruised.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Watching Mixtape on BBC iPlayer which is taking me back to my younger years. Oh the heady days of recording stuff on a cassette only for it to unravel and have to wind it back in with a pen 🤣 I still have loads of vinyl in the loft from the 80s. I used to spend a fortune on records and one particular shop in the city centre used to save me white label 12 inches under the counter, I think I was their best customer 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
