I've just been thinking the same about getting organised. I don't know what's the matter with me lately. My TO DO list, never seems to get done, and if I am going to go out to exercise classes etc now, then I need to be more organised. Hoping the lighter mornings will help, need to start getting up earlier again I think. Some morning, by the time I've done my morning stretch routine, got ready and dressed etc, had breakfast, it seems as though half the morning has passed.
Its nice that you have dates planned to meet your friends. I was supposed to be meeting a friend for catch up this week, but they have gone down with a chest infection, so will postpone it.Making the debt go down and savings go up

The eye test went well and my eyes are healthy apparently. It was all over and done with in an hour and that included me choosing some new frames. I still only need glasses for reading/VDU so used the voucher from work to go towards super readers that act as both. Apparently the glasses I already have which I thought were just computer glasses are actually super readers. Anyway despite also having to have the lenses thinned the super readers were £160. I could’ve had free just VDU glasses but would still need separate reading glasses so it made sense to do it this way.My Apple Watch arrived and I’ve set it up. I love all the different faces you can set. Happy with it so far but still getting used to it obviously.Mr SA had been on his own all day as DD was also out at work. When I got home he’d attempted to mop the floors which I thought was strange until I discovered he’d managed to step in some dog 💩 in the garden and shuffle it all over the house 😞 At least he made an attempt to clean it up but I wish he’d look where he’s walking.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

On the getting organised again front, I designed myself a week planner at work listing my tasks for next week with a forward look at the bottom to the following week. However it’s hard to plan my work as anything can come up, it’s the nature of my job, but at least the things I need to do are on there. I thought I could do something similar for home/personal tasks, although I tend to use a diary for this.I focus better when I have written down lists. I get very easily distracted and can flit from task to task if I don’t organise myself.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Finally sitting down after a busy day.Up early as was bullied by my 🍎 watch asking me if I had 3 minutes to spare at 5.30, no idea what for, followed by it telling me it was time to stand up 20 minutes later 🤣 It’s a good job I still get up early at the weekend.Went to the big Mr T with the soft plastics recycling combining a walk for the dog and me. Pleased to note the step count on the new watch is on a par with the former Fitbit count at just under 8,000 for the round trip.If anyone is wanting to try more plant based eating the Deliciously Ella how to go plant based cookbook is down to just £2.19 on Am@zon. I have her books and app.I gave the downstairs of the house a good clean and steam mopped the floors. Doing the upstairs tomorrow.Spent some time painting my nails with the kit I bought a few weeks ago. Still very impressed with this kit as the varnish lasts around a week before starting to chip and I’m very hard on varnish as I use a keyboard a lot for work. Kit is OPI Infinite Shine, basecoat, 4 colours and topcoat, can highly recommend. Looks very similar to gel varnish with the shine.Did some surveys and am so close now to cashing out on YG and Opinium. Also not doing too bad on PA and have over £23 to claim on TCB.Tonight’s dinner was veggie burger, homemade wedges and salad. Rose cava has been opened and currently enjoying. I’d forgotten just how nice rose cava is 😋 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Morning all, happy Sunday.I’ve been up since 5.30, not the watch it was the young cat. I’ve made a list of all I want to achieve today. DD is working so a good opportunity to give the kitchen and bathroom a thorough clean.Should be a NSD as not going further than the park across the road with the dog.I’m going to plan my week ahead to try and fit in some housework and gardening so I don’t have to play catch up all weekend. It’s hard when I’m working full time though.I’ve signed up for a free 7 day yoga challenge, starts 21 March. It’s called BAM challenge (bare a$$ minimum) and it’s a Sarah Beth one. It’s only 5 minutes a day so very doable.Right more doing less waffling…I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Got a fair bit done today. Not everything on my list but most of it. The rest can roll over until tomorrow.Sorted out the mini greenhouse and put cable ties on the shelves to stop them moving. Also put the new cover on it. There isn’t anything in there at present but at least it’s ready. On the seeds front everything has germinated both in the heated propagator and greenhouse.Made a batch of chilli bean soup for work lunches from a recipe from The Vegetarian Student cookbook plus Gunpowder Spiced Roast Cauliflower Curry for tonight’s dinner from an old Waitr0se magazine. I make both recipes time and time again as they’re so tasty. A portion of the curry is destined for tomorrow night’s dinner and another portion has gone in the freezer. Not spent anything today so that’s a bonus.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

That's Monday done.
Worked in the office until just before lunchtime, finished up at home. Absolutely nothing done off my work to do list for today as I've been bombarded with requests from the directors I PA for. Not the end of the world as things can roll over until tomorrow.
Hoping I get more ticked off my home to do list. Breaking the tasks into 30 minute chunks: exercise/housework/gardening/reading and Spanish.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work plus this week I'm having a go at Lucy Wyndham-Read's free home workout playlist. I've signed up to receive weekly exercise playlists. The challenge is currently on week 12 but will start from there rather than go back to week 1. Today's playlist is 10 minutes Boost Your Metabolism Low Impact Cardio Workout followed by 7 minutes Arm Toning Workout. I will then do a 10 minutes yoga session.
Housework task is a general tidy round plus vacuum/spray mop/usual kitchen wipe round. Gardening should be a quick task - pull up a few weeds in the drive.
All the fur babies need their flea treatment - forgot to do this yesterday.
Aiming to get to part 3 of my book by Friday with a view to finishing the book at the weekend. Just a few pages tonight. It's still doing my head in there not being any chapters in this book.
Usual Spanish learning - aiming to get to the end of the current section today. Really glad I purchased the super Duolingo, I seem to be progressing a lot more now I don't have to worry about losing hearts.
Stopped off a Lid! on the way home. Bought the mini tool kit for £12.99, Mr SA is over the moon with it! I told him it's for us both to use and he's not to hide it away. I'm not into tools but it's a great little kit in a handy sized bag and well worth the money.
Monday finance check done, cc balance paid off and an oddment of £5.22 sent to the Christmas pot. £160 for glasses transferred from glasses pot to current account. I had £300 in the glasses pot so might send this to the pots that need topping up - namely vet and tech pots. Halfway through the 4 week budget period and need to be careful over the next 2 weeks.
I always seem to be full of enthusiasm on Mondays (although not first thing!!) with all the stuff I'm miraculously going to achieve in the week ahead. This will have all gone to pot by Wednesday no doubt!
