You can always try a water meter and if in the first 12 months you feel it won't suit you they will switch you back.
We save quite a bit being on a meter.4 -
I wonder if your calculation for water meter is so high as there are 3 of you in the house, and you do a lot of washing due to Mr SA and his accidents. I would also imagine you use the shower a lot with 3 of you.
Although having said that, my DD is on a meter in ST area. They are 2 adults, 2 15 year olds, an 8 year old and 3 year old. So they use the shower a LOT....especially as the boys play football. Also she does LOADS of washes. He bill is £66 a month on a meter, so £792 for the year. If she wasn't on meter, it would just be going up to £800 now. Also it depends on your house type etc. Both us, and DD are in a semi in band B.Making the debt go down and savings go up

That's the worst part of the week done. Worked in the office for most of the day and finished up at home.
Stopped of at Lid! on the way home for a couple of things.
My new phone has arrived, it's currently transferring everything across from my old phone. This is the first time I've ever had a refurbished phone I usually have brand new. I'm impressed so far as I opted for excellent condition and you can't tell it's not new.
My Fitbit is still playing up. I've tried everything it suggests online. I'm not getting another Fitbit. If I end up getting a new one it'll be an Apple watch. I've still not exchanged the £50 in vouchers I got from work and I can exchange them for Apple vouchers. I only need a basic one and they're not as expensive as I thought they were. I only really need it to tell me the time, how many steps I've done and as an alarm, anything else will be a bonus. Plus it will pair up nicely with my iPhone. Another option is to look at refurbished Apple watches. This is if all else fails with the Fitbit though, not quite giving up yet.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and Zumba tonight. For once I have no idea of how many steps I've done, although have a good idea.
Tonight's dinner is leftover Store cupboard root vegetable peanut stew that I made yesterday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I must say I have had a fitbit for years then got a charge5 which the magnetic bit of the charger stopped working in less than 2 years. Then I got a charge6 & discovered it wouldn't work with a computer because they had been taken over by google so I then had to also by a pad. This now needs the fitbit app deleting & reinstalling every couple of days. I will not be buying another fitbit which is a pity because they used to be really good.2
