Great news about the freezer. I bet your DD will have it full sooner than that!

I finally finished that blooming book too 🥳 Still not sure what it was about 🤣

Was worried about the new fish as I hadn’t seen them since yesterday (it’s a big pond). Threw a bit of food in and they appeared from nowhere, phew!

Didn’t get all the jobs I wanted to done but have cut the grass and trimmed back some bushes. Tested out the new weeder gadget and it works well once you’ve got the knack.

Didn’t get to sit in my hanging chair as the sun wasn’t on it that much but sat at the bottom of the garden for a while in short sleeves and it was lovely ☀️

  • Breaking news - major achievement of the day - brace yourselves - I have finally defrosted the small freezer 🥳🍾🥂🍻

Only took an hour or so in the sunshine. All cleaned out and plugged back in. Will start to refill it over the next couple of weeks.

Only taken me around 2 years.
    I'm glad I was sitting down 🤣

Well done 👏  I'm currently quarter way through a book and it's okay but I'm still not sure what the gist is meant to be. Hopefully it'll improve but it's one of those where you like it well enough when you read it but feel distinctly unenthusiastic about returning to it. I feel several more books being started to compensate 😂

Amazing about the freezer! Well done. Some jobs get harder the more you think about them: just starting is half the battle but you've done the lot!
