Enthusiasm will most certainly not be gone to pot as we are doing the Smashing March challenge!
(Can you please remind me of this come Wednesday 😁)
Tool kit sounds fab, speaking of hiding things, how's your gin stash location doing?
I don't think I could be doing with a book without chapters either, how do you know when to go to sleep 😂3 -
Gin stash is doing fine @PennysIntoPounds 😆
Re the book I toyed with the idea of sticking post it notes where I thought a chapter would end 🤔 I like things in small chunks I can’t be doing with something that seems endless. Other than that the story is easy enough to follow.
Mr SA hasn’t stopped looking at the tool kit since I brought it home. Best £12.99 I ever spent 🤣
Finally cashed out on Opinium so £25 heading my way. Also did a few PA surveys and another YG one.Enjoyed the Lucy mini workouts. They were surprisingly effective for such short workouts especially the 7 minute arms one. A downside was no music but I put some on in the background.Didn’t weed the drive as it looked as though it was going to pour with rain so that job has rolled over to tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
SA, can I ask what might be a silly question?
What sort of things do you include in your soft plastics for recycling please? I was cooking dinner last night and said to my OH that I threw out the bag for frozen green beans, the plastic off the leeks and the plastic packaging for a chorizo - 3 items on 1 meal... do these things count? I only ask as you're recycling stuff every week and I would like to be better.
Thanks! Sarah2 -

Some annoying things today:
To start...
Shoddy admin from NHS. Mr SA had a call out of the blue from his consultant last week which he has once a year instead of going to the hospital. Provided all is ok that's it for another year. He wasn't expecting this call as he usually receives a letter first so it's a good job he was available. Today he received a letter from NHS dated 13 March confirming that his telephone consultation was Thursday 12 March. So not only was the letter issued a day after the appointment but 12 March was actually Wednesday not Thursday!!
Next...
I used to take my coffee pods to the local shop for recycling via Yodel. They're suddenly no longer doing this so emailed Podback to ask why. Apparently you now have to take them to your local Asda. I don't have a local Asda. Emailed them back saying I don't live close to an Asda and don't drive so it would either be a very long walk for me or £6 in bus fares so regrettably the pods would now have to go in landfill.
And...
Received an email from the local council with a link to view the latest council tax bill. Clicked the link and it wanted a user name which I don't have note of so pressed the forgot my user name option. It came back with a user name so I put that in and it asked for a password that I don't have note of. Clicked forgotten password and it came back with the message this account isn't valid as you've never logged on to it. What the 😠 So this means for the second year running I can't access the council tax bill and have no idea what it is. Sent them a shirty email asking them to sort it out and can we have a paper bill in future. I must've signed up to paperless bills at some stage.

Does Podback not do postal returns? I've not used them before and my Nespresso hasn't been used in so long that I don't know if I've even got pods or return bags for it at the moment. Just need to find it a home in the new house and then decide if it gets kept.1 -
Oh my, that definitely counts as a list of annoying things for today.
Mr SA's phone call sounds as bad as the mess up I had with mine in January. I always have a phone call, and I got a letter saying I had to attend the clinic. So I rang up and asked why, as I haven't been to clinic for years. So then the actual nurse practioner had to ring me, to explain that I had to follow a link from a text they sent, saying I would attend, but it didn't really mean I would attend, as it was a phone call!!!!! So then the same woman rang me back on the nominated day, and the call lasted all of 3 minutes, checked I was ok, and said speak to me again next year!!Making the debt go down and savings go up

The CT has been sorted thank goodness so I finally know how much it is. It's gone up by £9 per month which isn't as bad as I feared.
I finally managed to get the weeding done on the front drive this lunchtime, it only took me 10 minutes as there were only a few to pull up. So that's a job I keep rolling over ticked off the list.
Exercise has been dog walking, a 10 minutes Lucy walk at home session, 7 minutes standing abs and Power Punch at lunchtime. I'm doing a live resistance bands session later followed by 10 minutes of yoga.
Mr SA has been watching the news too much and is now convinced the government are going to take his mobility scooter from him. I've tried to make him see sense but he's been getting really stressed about it.
Decided to make a stir fry for tonight's dinner as I have quite a few bits of veg need using up.
