I have IBS & DH suffers from an IBD. Alcohol is a definite trigger, but also onions are a BIG no no for both of us, as well as too much spicy stuff. Did Mr SA's curry have onions? Or last weeks pizza?
He has onions a lot and is usually fine. I do think spices affect him which would explain the curry. It seems to be more at the weekend when he has a bigger meal and beer. Having said that he has had odd flare ups in the week so will try leaving onions out of his food altogether to see if it makes a difference. I guess it's trial and error trying to find out what triggers it.

I get reflux and my triggers seem to be chocolate, coffee, wheat, fizzy drinks and aspirin. Thankfully I'm fine with onions and spices. It's a strange thing and triggers vary. Carrying extra weight, wearing something tight like a belt or having constipation can also make it worse. I also find I can get away with my triggers better if they are a small part of a larger meal - so aspirin after breakfast affects me more than after dinner.

I would love to know some of the examples of what not to do or say at interview, though I suspect they may be confidential! I always imagined interviewing would be interesting but so far no one's let me loose on it.

Well done on the haggle. Mr F did this too & it was a decent saving. I've also made a note of the contract expiry date because there's no way we are going to accept that big jump after 18 months either.

I just realised it’s now £3 a month less than what it was before they put the price up when the contract expired. It was £57 then went up to £85 and it’s now £54. If it was left to me I’d just have broadband because I don’t watch much TV at all and when I do it’s usually freeview channels. However Mr SA watches a lot of the VM channels.

Going to sort out a new phone tomorrow. I’ve seen a deal I like the look of.
