Great news on the refund from Jet2 SA - but what a nasty shock the snow landing on you like that - I shivered a bit when you said it had gone down your neck - horrible feeling!
I wondered whether a lot of folk would work from home today because of strikes - the entire London Tube system is out which is pretty unusual! In the end though the roads weren't that much quieter than usual, disappointingly!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Left work just after lunch to finish up at home.
In money news today is NSD 5 of March. I've also had the monthly utilities bill and still £300 in credit which is good (for us anyway).
Today's exercise is the walking to/from work plus a Zumba class at 6pm so will clock up well over 20,000 steps today.
Tonight's dinner is roast Mediterranean veg with pasta. I have some peppers, courgettes, tomatoes and mushrooms need using up.
Last night's new recipe the PON Somerset sausages was lovely apart from the veggie sausages which tasted like old dog biscuits (not that I've ever tasted them 😆). I probably should've cooked them with the veg to give them more flavour rather than just air fry them and add them later. What made it 'Somerset' was the apple and some cider 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Morning all, happy Thursday.
WFH today thank goodness. The dog got me up at 5am so decided to stay up and read my book and quietly get a few bits done.
Annoyingly my mobile number didn't change over at 6pm last night as promised so I will have to phone O2 again to find out what's going on. The only reason I want to keep the old number is because it's super easy to remember off by heart. The only person who ever phones me is Mr SA plus I suppose there must be a few people/places where I've given my number and I'd have to update it which would be a pain.
I still need to book the airport lounge and mobility scooter.
I'm going to go to Lid! shortly, I was hoping to leave it until tomorrow but there are a couple of things I could do with today. It will get my steps count up and save me a job tomorrow if nothing else.
In money news the CT bill has arrived and gone up by £8 a month. I've signed up for paperless bills now as Mr SA had opened it and left it under the coffee table, he didn't even tell me it had arrived! I've done a quick finances check and the £50 credit from Jet2 has hit my account. I've also caught up with the 1p savings challenge.
Exercise today will be walking to/from Lid! plus a lunchtime live HIIT session.
After I've finished work I'm going to try and get some cleaning done and get ahead a bit so I'm not cleaning all weekend. I want to try and make a start on decluttering on Sunday and at some stage I need to look at my holiday wardrobe.
Tonight's dinner is fish pie with cauliflower mash, an old favourite WW recipe.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Sometimes you have to turn the phones off and back on for the changes to happen? Just a thought.
