Bet the snow was a shock for both you and the dog.
The salmon and aubergine sounds delicious.  Dh likes both salmon and aubergine but I know he’d turn his nose up if I gave them him together, he has ideas of what goes with what and is stuck in a bit of a rut 😏

Morning, happy Tuesday.

WFH today. It was raining first thing so glad I didn't have to venture out. The sun has come out now although it's cold.

Mr M delivery arrived dead on 6am with no missing items or subs. This week's delivery pass offer was £2 off chocolate so got Mr SA a pack of twirls for £1.25 and still got £2 off. 

Mr SA got up early today so it's going to be a very long day. That quiet hour or so in the morning before he gets up is my favourite time of the day 🤣

Exercise is a goal of 15,000 steps plus my usual live bums & tums and resistance band sessions. I'm going to try and fit in a dog walk before I go into a meeting later this morning.

Tonight's dinner is a new recipe to try - Somerset sausages from the new PON Enjoy cookbook. This was on last week's menu but I didn't get around to making it for some reason. I will sub the normal sausages for veggie ones.

Today's to do:

• Phone O2 about transferring old phone number (still haven't put the new sim card in my phone so still using Mr T one, I did ask for a PAC code so not sure what's happening)
• Book Special Assistance for holiday
• Book airport lounge for holiday
• Book a scooter for Mr SA to use on holiday
• Clean kitchen
• Spanish lessons
• Surveys
• Ironing

I also have a very long work to do list.

Well it was worth contacting Jet2 about the special assistance as they’ve refunded me £50 for the pre booked seats as they are now free with assistance. We will keep the seats I originally booked thankfully as they are as close to the front of the plane I could get. The £50 will go towards the airport lounge where I park Mr SA with his unlimited coffees and bacon rolls while I browse round the shops. It’s worth every penny as otherwise I’m pushing him round and round the airport aimlessly.

Forgot to say I phoned O2 and they hadn’t transferred my phone number but have done now. It will be all done and dusted by tomorrow night. I must say the bloke I spoke to was very helpful and gave me step by step instructions on what to do tomorrow. 

I’ve already had notification of my £50 refund from Jet2. 

So two very good customer service experiences today 👏

Morning all. 

I’m in the office today and it’s super quiet as a lot of people are on strike or WFH because teachers are on strike. I had to cross a picket line but they’re happy as long as you take a leaflet from them. All meetings have been cancelled so I might actually be able to get on with some work today 😆
