The dog enjoyed her steamed chicken and wolfed it down. She seems fine to me and has only been out in the garden once since I got back from work.Unfortunately DIL is back in hospital and is having yet another lumbar puncture tomorrow. She’s really fed up with it now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I buy the Covent Garden Soup on offer too @beanielou. Good flavour and by the time you factor in cost of time and fuel, not that poor value.
I also remembered 10 cal soup and 'slimma soups'.Thinking of your DiL SA and hoping her condition improves. Must be so hard for them with young children. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Thank you for all your good wishes for DIL. She's really fed up and just wants her life back.
WFH today thank goodness as it's quite snowy outside. I didn't think it looked too bad on the front as it hasn't settled on the pavement or road but when I looked out at the back garden it looks like a winter wonderland. The young cat has been out in it and is now asleep on top of the radiator 😆
The dog was up twice in the night to go outside. She seems her normal lively self otherwise. I'll keep her on the steamed chicken today. She does tend to suffer with a dodgy tummy from time to time.
Exercise today will be a walk later, not sure if we'll be able to get on the park across the road with the dog as it's a steep hill down to it and no doubt the path is covered in snow. I'm also doing a live stretch & tone session at lunchtime. I'm on day 8 of the plank challenge and starting to feel it in my abs.
Tonight's dinner is a new recipe Traybake Aloo Gobi, I'm doing the WW live cookalong on the app at 6pm and this is the recipe.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
So sorry to her about your DiL. One of the hardest things about any serious chronic illness is learning and accepting that your life has changed forever. I still struggle with that from time to time. Its been about 5 years now for me and I am much older than your DiLI hope she feels a bit better soon.2

If your dog is anything like ours she will just want to go out and play with the snow2
