The dog enjoyed her steamed chicken and wolfed it down. She seems fine to me and has only been out in the garden once since I got back from work.

Unfortunately DIL is back in hospital and is having yet another lumbar puncture tomorrow. She’s really fed up with it now.

I buy the Covent Garden Soup on offer too @beanielou. Good flavour and by the time you factor in cost of time and fuel, not that poor value.

I also remembered 10 cal soup and 'slimma soups'.

Thinking of your DiL SA and hoping her condition improves. Must be so hard for them with young children.

So sorry to her about your DiL. One of the hardest things about any serious chronic illness is learning and accepting that your life has changed forever. I still struggle with that from time to time. Its been about 5 years now for me and I am much older than your DiL
I hope she feels a bit better soon.

If your dog is anything like ours she will just want to go out and play with the snow :)
