I seem to spend half my life finishing up tubes and pots! Why does the last bit take so long? On the other hand, it must save me money and is better for the environment.
Good to hear about the Lipsyls!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Great to hear Mr SA has decided to switch from lipsyls to Mr L brand, that will save some money.
I'm the same with tubes, currently in my bathroom there is a tube of toothepaste with the top cut off it which i have managed to get quite a few days of extra out, a tube of hand cream and a tube of BB cream all cut open and stored in plastic bags to stop them drying out, oh and the plastic bags were saved out of the testing kits for covid.

Happy Sunday 🙂
I’ve been fairly productive today, took the dog for a run on the park and litter picked a black sack full of rubbish at the same time.NSD 2 of March today.I’ve made a batch of carrot, spinach and coriander soup for work lunches. Also picked some purple sprouting broccoli from the garden.I just have one more for baby to de-flea, she’s hiding at the moment. The other two are done.Finished watching series 2 of Happy Valley and finished my book.
I’ve also scrubbed the bathroom and kitchen floors while Mr SA had his lunchtime nap and DD was at work. They look so much brighter now. The floors not Mr SA and DD 😆
I still need to do a bit more Spanish learning and cash out survey money. Also need to do a short yoga/stretching session and paint my nails. Oh and have a bath with a face pack.Tonight’s dinner is lightly dusted yellowfin sole with air fried potatoes and steamed veg (including home grown purple sprouting broccoli 🙂).
I have leftover Prosecco from last night for later 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Happy Sunday SA - you are a domestic goddess. You have inspired me to make some soup - have so many pulses and lots of veg without alternate purpose so going for it. I do tend to keep veg that is due to go off in the freezer until I have enough to do a large saucepan.

Domestic goddess 🤣🤣
I’ve been making soup for my work lunches for years. It’s so easy to make a batch on a Sunday and it usually lasts me around 4 days. I find it quite filling and it’s something quick I can eat at my desk. I got into soup making when I first joined WW 21 years ago.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
I like making soup too. Once I got into making my own, I found I really dislike bought soup. It's easy to make, economical, tasty, freezes well & there are pretty much limitless varieties.

I have to admit that I just cannot make soup and it sounds so simple, I follow the recipe to the letter and it never comes out like soup, I think it hates me
Therefore I put my hand up and say Covent Garden and He1nz tomato are my friends.

I used to be rubbish at making soup, but since I bought my soup maker it’s been a doddle. Can anyone remember those 10 calorie soups you made in a mug? That’s how I started off many years ago 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
