Deal sounds great 👍January spends - £587.584

That's Monday done.
Back in the office today and the walk to work seemed to take forever, I'm sure the office has got further away in my absence 😆
Will definitely hit steps target of 20,000 today. I've also booked on to a FitOn strength training class at 5pm, only 20 minutes long.
Popped into Lid! on the way home as I wanted one of the Aloe Vera plants from this weekend's special offers. I was only a few pence away from the £2 off coupon so now got that to spend.
Had a quick pre-payday finances check and have cleared this week's CC balance. Shuffled some money into the 1p savings challenge pot.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of Quorn lasagne from freezer stocks with salad.

I saw those aloe Vera! I never buy plants tho as it’s the kiss of death - I have no green fingers and either drown them or send them to the Mohave desert.Quorn laaagna sounds interesting - is that with the mince and homemade or do they do a quorn ready meal?Lancashire

Yes homemade with Quorn mince. I don’t do ready meals 😆 I think you can buy them ready made though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Just adding that the new broadband speed has kicked in already and the difference is amazing. Mr SA hasn’t noticed any new channels but then he rarely strays outside of the 5 main free channels and Blaze.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

You deserve it SA after all your hours trying to get through to VM! Xx

Paying £2 a month less than I am now for double the broadband speed, more TV channels (although doesn’t bother me), still got the landline and also have an 02 sim included which will come in handy as my Mr T mobile price is going up so I can just cancel it. The price quoted today will remain the same for the next 18 months.

Morning all happy Tuesday and happy payday for me 😁
WFH today.
Took all of 5 minutes to do the payday shuffle this morning. I already know what's going where a month beforehand. An oddment of £7.25 has gone into the Christmas pot and the various savings amounts are ready to send to the 3 regular savings accounts. Bills money ready and waiting to be decimated from tomorrow onwards.
Another windows/door payment has gone out. Only 11 more to go and that's another bill gone.
Mr M order has been delivered and packed away. No missing items or subs. They're doing another £38 off Easter shop just got to spend enough across 4 out of 5 weeks to qualify.
Today's exercise is dog walking this morning, live bums and tums at lunchtime and live resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is chickpea, tofu and harissa stew, trying a new recipe from my Feel Better (Deliciously Ella) app.
I need to give the kitchen a good clean after work.

Happy payday indeed SA - and well done for your patience with VM. I'm afraid I'm another in the "never again" camp with them, they are nicknamed "Virgin Mediocre" in our house!
I'm not a fan of the number of companies that have gone across to things like WhatsApp for customer service. if you got a dedicated call handler the same as you would on the telephone it would probably work quite well, but that they are juggling multiple contacts at once so there are great long gaps between responses makes it a poor use of time for me.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
