Extremely frustrating. I know I was tearing my hair out when dealing with VM. Unfortunately weekends are probably the worst time to try and contact them but that is no help when you work full time.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Finally I have a deal 🥳
Paying £2 a month less than I am now for double the broadband speed, more TV channels (although doesn’t bother me), still got the landline and also have an 02 sim included which will come in handy as my Mr T mobile price is going up so I can just cancel it. The price quoted today will remain the same for the next 18 months.I could’ve gone for broadband only for about £10 a month less for better broadband speeds but this would entail me teaching Mr SA how to watch TV via the internet 😬 He is rubbish with technology.Thank goodness for that!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Excellent news that you got there eventually. 👍3

Fantastic news
want to do mine when they been in touch 😂4 -
All I wanted was to pay the same or preferably slightly less than I am now. My main ask was a better broadband speed even if it meant losing the TV. I only watch TV for an hour a day but Mr SA has it on all day.The sim included will save me £10 a month or £11 when it goes up so combined I’m saving more than just £2 a month. It was hard work though 🙄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Well that's a really good deal. I might haggle for the free O2 sim next time we need to. I am with O2 and paying £10 a month, so that would be a great saving. Also I'm sure DH would like faster broadband speed, TBH I have no idea what speed we have.Making the debt go down and savings go up

The O2 sim isn’t free it’s £6 a month paid separately to them. So I’m paying £53 to VM and £6 to O2. Bundle combined is £59 a month. I’m paying £61 now which was due to rise to £76 in May plus £10 to Tesco Mobile due to rise to £11 ish shortly. O2 have done the switchover so all I had to do was ask for my PAC code via text as I wanted to keep my number. It’s the only number I’ve ever been able to remember off by heart so there’s no way I’m letting go of it!I’ve already had a text from Tesco trying to persuade me to stay with offers. I hardly ever ring or text anyone so I’m not exactly one of their best customers.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Aah ok, but £6 is still better than the £10 I am paying. TBF, I know I could get cheaper if I went elsewhere, but I have been with O2 for years and don't want the hassle of changing....I must be getting old to think like that...lolMaking the debt go down and savings go up
