Congratulations to your son and his fiancée. That's lovely news.
good luck with getting a suitable wedding outfit for Mr SA. Camouflage cargo trousers probably don't qualify!

Great news about your son's forthcoming marriage. My son has been with his partner about 10 years now, after a divorce from an 11 year marriage. I'd like nothing better than to see him married, but not sure it will ever happen.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Lovely news about the wedding. Good luck on finding an outfit. My DS got marries 5 years ago and I struggled to find anything decent. Even one of the retailers said to me that they were struggling to find any decent MOB or MOG outfits. I didn’t want anything too traditional just something simple in a pastel colour. Nowadays there’s so much around that I would have chosen.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.001

It’s going to be a very informal wedding so no church or needing to stress about outfits or hats, just wear something smart and will only be immediate family. It will be Halloween themed as it’s on 31 October.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Are you going to march Mr SA back to the shop and make him confess? Honestly... reminds me of my now-Son in Law doing that knocking on doors then running away thing when I was with him. (I didn't make him confess: he's bigger than me). And how very annoying about Mr SA turning up the heat on the log burner. Is there a way you can adjust the thermostat so at least the heating goes off when the log burner is providing the heat? That might persuade him to leave off.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Camouflage trousers are easy, just say you got him some really good ones. If you can see camouflage trousers, they're not very camouflaged are they
