Morning all, happy October 🎃
WFH today.
Unfortunately the day hasn't got off to the best start as DD is waiting for an ambulance to take her to hospital. She has been vomiting blood again. The last time this happened it was the aneurysm. Hopefully she'll get sorted quickly and it's not flaring up again. Trying not to get stressed about it but it is a worry.
The Mr M shop has been delivered, just a small shop this week as I've got plenty in. Just as I was successfully using up freezer contents, DD decided to do an Iceland shop yesterday and has filled it back up again! She had noticed there was plenty of space so stocked up.
First day of the month and the current account has been massacred with all the direct debits going out. Final instalments for the YBS Christmas Saver and Principality RS have gone so that's those filled. Shame most of it is going to be spent on the refurb but it has to be done. Received £3.21 interest in the current account so this has been sent to the Christmas pot.
When the builder stops by today I'm going to ask him what he thinks about getting the flooring and painting done first. I need to order a skip today to be delivered next week so we can make a start on clearing rooms. I have a stash of things in the covered area outside that need to go in too. I'm going to be ruthless and not hold on to anything I don't plan to use. The dining room table and DD's old desk I'll advertise on the local FB group as they're both in good condition so would be a shame to skip them.
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of the chickpea stew I made on Sunday with a baked sweet potato.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

The ambulance came less than half an hour after 911 ordered it. They checked her over and have taken her in. She was doing so well up to now 😞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

So sorry to hear this, I hope they have things sorted quickly. On the positive side her recent good health will help her be resilient, and because they have her medical history they will know where to start looking.
I hope you get some positive news soon and she can come home soon.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
