Lovely that your meet up is back on, and that you've got a lovely long weekend.

picked up a free croissant from the wheel spin thing, will give it to Mr SA as I'm not keen. Now got a free brownie to pick up which will also be donated to Mr SA as I don't like them either.

I got a free bakery item off the 'spin the wheel' last week which was nice as I'd not spent enough the previous month to get it automatically. I turned that into one of those round wholemeal loaves, which are around £1.89 if you have to pay for them. Now I've won a free baton which I can't use... I'm thinking I'll get one and donate it to family.

My freebies from L*d! were donuts, picked up a choc one for DH and then after I'd done the next shop and sat in the car park, had a look at the app and got another spin. Nipped back in and got a jam one, was intending to give that to DH as well, as I am trying to be healthy, but decided 2 was too much for him, so I ended up eating it.  It was actually quite nice, even though I think donuts are soooo unhealthy, so it will be the last one I have a for a very long while.  Hoping the next spin might offer a savoury product.

Maybe the freebies from the wheel spin could be cut in half and frozen, and brought out as a treat for Mr SA?

My DIL made DH a yummy birthday cake (in April) consisting of the most amazing chocolate brownies. After gorging on them for two days, I separated the remaining brownies and froze them. We've got two or three left... but I'm not telling Mr SA that!!!
