Sun_Addict said:The gin is hidden. Have moved it to the bottom shelf of the book case. It can't be seen at all, the bottles are pushed right to the back and I've put my candles in front of them. I'm cross I've had to do this though. You can't even see it if you sit on the sofa at the side of it. I've left a bottle of alcohol free gin in the cupboard, I doubt he'll be interested in that 😆That brought a smile to my faceKeep a bottle when it's empty and pour the alcohol free gin into it.... see how fast it goes down

I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy2 -
Finally managed to sit down.
Worked in the office today, just worked 6 hours which I usually do on a Friday.Absolute bargain in MnS - the dress I wanted for my holiday that I ordered online as they didn’t have my size in the shop, then cancelled when I got a message to say it was delayed and wouldn’t be here in time, was in the sale and in my size for just £10 reduced from £29.50, happy days 🥳 So glad I popped in on the off chance as it was out of stock online. Tried it on and it fits perfectly and I love it. It’s only a linen shift dress but I practically live in linen shift dresses in the summer as they suit my very petite frame and are so easy to wear. Also picked up the free food magazine and paper from Waitr0se and the free food magazines from Mr T.Stopped off at Lid! on the way home and stocked up on the bargain wholewheat pasta for 56p. Plus the veggie burgers and sausages also on offer. I must say they’re doing some cracking offers at the moment.Today’s exercise was lots of walking 25,610 steps so far. Tonight’s dinner was lightly dusted fish with steamed veg.I did manage an hour in my hanging chair reading my book in the sun when I finally got back home before cooking and ironing.Feet up watching TV with a glass of wine now so that’s me asleep before 9pm 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
I'm so pleased you got the dress in the end!
You're the second person who's mentioned bargain pasta at L!dl: time I got my act together and invested in some. I get the wholewheat one as well. Thanks for the reminder.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thank goodness Mr SA found the baseball boots he wanted in the second shop we went in this morning for £18 🥳 Job done ✔️ Had to stop him from looking at man bags 😬
Had lunch in Slug and 🥬 with the free Prosecco which was very nice. Managed to get away before the demonstrations kicked off but caught the beginning of the counter demonstration. The city centre was extremely quiet for a Saturday but expect this was because of the demonstrations and people decided to avoid it. We didn’t see any trouble but probably left at the right time.Making roast cauliflower gunpowder curry tonight as bought a huge cauliflower for £1.20 from a market stall.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
