That's Monday almost done. Worked in the office until lunchtime and finishing up at home.
Monday finance check done and cc balance cleared.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home and now have a free snack item to pick up as hit the £100 spend mark.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work just short of 17,000 steps so far. Going to do some gardening after work instead of the hula hooping class as I want to be in the sun for a bit.
Tonight's dinner is vegetarian paella, not had that for ages.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Morning all, another beautiful sunny start to the day, could get used to this 😆
WFH today. The Mr M delivery has been and all packed away before 7am. Two loads of washing out already.
Today's exercise will be dog walking later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner will be the Miso tofu & aubergine as I am now in possession of an aubergine.
Garden waste bin has been emptied this morning so can crack on with filling it back up again this week. Need to squash down the recycling bin as it's full to bursting and they're picking it up tomorrow. Did a fair bit of tidying yesterday and put down a bag of wood bark in one of the flower beds which the cats immediately christened! My older cat loves to sleep on top of the wood bark, it must be cool for her, it certainly can't be comfortable!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I’m so annoyed with Mr SA. He’d been out with the dog and had spotted some sunglasses he wanted at the charity shop so brought the dog back here while he went back for them.A bit later a woman knocked on the door to ask if the dog wandering about outside was ours. Mr SA in his haste to buy the sunglasses had left both the back and drive gates open 🤬
Mr SA has never been able to accept the blame for anything and denied leaving them open. His only concern was that the sunglasses are just what he needs 😡I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
That would be extremely annoying as well as concerning - poor dog! At least someone let you know, the dog hadn't wandered too far and the gates are now shut.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Thank goodness your dog was returned safely. There are so many going missing never to be seen again.2

I think what happened was she ventured out of the driveway gate but came back in when approached by the passers by. She was back in the drive when they knocked on the door. Very grateful to them for alerting me though. Still cross with Mr SA he’s so careless and selfish. I’d already told him off earlier as he left the back gate open when we went on the park. I dread to think what goes off when I’m working in the office.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
