Good news about the dog! Hope you enjoyed your chill time in the chair."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1

I don't know how you do it, SA! 20,000 steps every now and then is more than enough for me!
Thanks for the tip about Mr T selling off summer stuff. If they are, other places may be too, and I have my eye on some picnic bowls for the DGDs to use when here.
That's great that the dog is finally clear of the infection. It must be miserable for them to live with, as well as for you with all the extra things to fit in.
And at last! Someone whose veg plants are not decimated by slugs! Well done on the healthiest courgette plant in England!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning all, happy Sunday.Lovely sunny morning here. Up early reading and drinking coffee while everyone else is asleep.
To prove not all slugs are bad, Slug and 🥬 have sent me a voucher for a free bottle of Prosecco when I next visit so have booked a table for lunch next Saturday when I take Mr SA baseball boot hunting. I’ll be ready for a stiff drink after that 😆 It must be at least 2 years since I last set foot in that particular bar so not exactly a regular customer.Plans for today are taking the dog on the park, pottering about in the garden, cleaning and hopefully some time in my hanging chair with my book.I think I’m going to make the miso tofu recipe again for my dinner as it was so delicious. I have leftover pizza and salad for lunch. As always there is leftover fizz from last night as I fell asleep not long after I sat down. Am@zon sent me £5 off a film purchase so I bought a film I wanted to watch but Mr SA wasn’t enjoying it so switched over. I’ll try and watch it some other time when I’m not so tired.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -

Got a fair bit done today. Cleaned the bathroom and spare room. Sorted out Mr SA’s very untidy shelves in his half of the wardrobes. Put the Salix tree bought from BnM yesterday in a spare pot, weeded and cut the grass.Didn’t make the miso tofu tonight as forgot I needed an aubergine. On the meal plan for next week though.Another NSD 🥳Spent a fair bit of time in my hanging chair reading my book in the beautiful sunshine ☀️
Boo to going back to work tomorrow 🙁👎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Sounds like a productive day backatcha from my diary 😁
Glad you got some book and hanging chair time in the sun.
I love salvia so much, I have visions of me having a large garden with absolutely tons of it being wild around the borders
Enjoy your work and income while you can, you'll miss it hanging out with Mr SA and his pesters when you retire!3 -
I meant to say Salix tree not Salvia 🤦♀️ I do have some Salvia in the garden though. Have amended my post.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
