Yes the lunch was very nice and not bad to pay £27 for food and a bottle of Prosecco. I had a vegan rosemary focaccia with sweet potato fries and Mr SA had burger and fries but ate some of my fries too as he was hungry 😆
It was really nice and would definitely go there again. I liked how you paid for everything upfront at the bar so no trying to attract someone over to pay the bill.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Thought of you this evening, Radio 1 is doing a dance weekend from Ibiza so if you fancy and have time to tune in tomorrow you might enjoy the vibes3

Us Sandgrounders (Southport folk) are so sad, sad, sad, that stupidlicious people believe whatever evil is posted on t'internet.
Sad for the poor wee girls who went to a dance/yoga class never came home.
Sad for their families.
Sad for the poor dance tutor who is (thank God) out of full danger, but whose mental health may never recover.
Sad for the poor emergency responders whose mental health took a huge battering. (My friend's son saved one of the wee girls' life - he is traumatised).
Sad for those thousands (me included) who attended the peaceful gathering outside the town hall, only to hear of scum using this as an excuse to riot .... not in our names!!!
Sad, sad, sad. It sent me to my knees.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?12 -

Can’t believe it’s back to work tomorrow. These pesky weekends pass by far too quickly.Had a message from the Lottery to say I’d won a prize, got all excited only to find it was just £5 plus a lucky dip 😐
Spent a good part of the morning cleaning the house after we’d taken the dog on the park as didn’t have time yesterday. After lunch took the soft plastic recycling to the big Mr T as it was building up too much. Litter picked a large bin liner full of rubbish from the park - blooming school holidays 😡Made a vegan nut roast for tonight’s dinner.Today’s exercise was 17,500 steps. This coming week will be a short working one as finishing at lunchtime on Thursday to go for a pub lunch catch up with my old team then I’m off Friday to go to my friend’s house.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
Sending big love and solidarity from London @satchmo1
Your friend's son is a hero.
£5 and a lucky dip is still a double win @Sun_Addict!
Love your litter picking devotion. I used to do it in a local park but in the supposedly rich privileged North London, there don't even seem to be street cleaners and I would not even know where to start.
Still, gives me plenty of scope for disposed of comp entries 😁
Your upcoming week sounds grand, glad you have nice plans to look forward to1 -

Actually glad I can't visit yet. I was there for the beginning of the Brixton riots, the miner's strikes, and the Poll Tax riots in London and Oxford. Missed the underground explosion in London by one week and several other disasters as well. Have been in two bus accidents and two car accidents over there (someone else was driving - no way would I try it.). Hum - maybe I shouldn't travel too often.2

Morning all, happy Monday.
WFH today as I need to change my office days this week due to the lunch meet up on Thursday.
Put a colour on my hair first thing. Also did my usual Monday finances check and paid off the cc balance. Need to rein it in a bit with the grocery budget for the next 2 weeks but have stocked up on a lot of offers. I've got a £55 voucher to use on my Mr M online order this week so that will help greatly.
Today's exercise will be dog walking later this morning, a lunchtime walk or gardening and hooping fitness tonight.
Making roast root veg soup for this week's work lunches (only need 3 this week) and having leftover roast cauliflower & lentil curry for tonight's dinner.
Should be a no spends day today the first of the month so far.
