    I think most vets are insisting on a visit for repeat flea treaments. The advice from the RCVS have changed their rules so even if your companion animal has seen the vet in the previous 12months they are insisting on an appointment. I had the same thing with Bear earlier in the year. The appointments seem to be free but of course the treatments still have to be paid for.

    All our pets are on the monthly vet plan so nothing to pay out. 
    I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Luckily our dog travels just fine given the number of miles he covers each year!

    You have reminded me it is his annual heath check next week and his annual vaccinations. He won't be happy about that!
