Not been on for a bit but see they both home and improving. Sorry to hear this means Mr SA is back to usual mess and accidents though
Hope you managed to take time for yourself even though from experience you feel guilty when there's so much to do etc x3 -

Got loads done today. Cleaned the house this morning then did a couple of hours gardening after lunch. Both the house and garden look loads better now. Afterwards sat in my hanging chair and finished my book. Oh my days what a read 😱 Could not put this book down it was both compelling and bizarre! OMG the ending 😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Thought of you this morning, SA, when I was presented with flowers and a bottle of Prosecco as my resignation from a church team finally came to fruition.
The priest said "I didn't know whether you drank". I told him I sold wine for a living for almost 20 years. I've been on that particular team for over 8 years, but my health makes it too difficult to attend meeting because they are always scheduled for the evening, and that's when I have zero energy.
I didn't tell him that I wasn't a Prosecco fan... someone will benefit from this at some point.
Does DD work from home, or is she office based? I hope her employer is being super supportive?
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?3 -
@satchmo1 she works for Mr M so no working from home. Not a great sick pay policy either unfortunately. I feel fortunate my workplace have 6 months full pay sick leave then down to half pay. Not that I’ve ever had to use it thankfully.

Morning all, happy Monday.
WFH today so a nice start to the day no rushing about. I'm going to remain WFH until the end of the month. I'm pretty certain Mr SA and DD will be fine on their own in a couple of weeks.
Started a new book. Felt I had to read something a bit lighter after the last one so am reading one that's been on my bookshelf for ages The Affair by Santa Montefiore. I love her books so it should be good.
Did my Spanish quests for the day so anything else will be a bonus.
Today's tasks:
Clean kitchen
Finalise tomorrow's Mr M order
Clean out fridge, see what needs using up
Meal plan for the week based on what's in fridge/freezer
Book nail appointment for Friday afternoon
Ironing
Make soup for work lunches
Exercise will be dog walking later this morning and a hooping class at 6pm. Aiming for a 15,000 step count.
In money news, checked finances this morning and paid off small balance accrued on cc. This is the final week in the 4 week budget period and there should be a decent underspend. Mr SA received a cheque for £100 from Motability for an end of contract payment. Yesterday was a NSD.

Sun_Addict said:Mr SA might be coming home today. If so I'll still need to go to the hospital with a change of clothes and we'll take a taxi home. His chest still sounds awful and he's constantly coughing.
Moves declutter his drawers of doom further up the to do list...
I am delurking to ask if you have power of Attorney set up for Mr SA, there are two types financial and medical, I have both set up for my dad but it is not active just there in case needed as he is getting older and after a cancer scare last year got it set up so that i could make medical decisions for him if he is deemed not mentally capable of making his own decisions as before this if he was not able to make a decision then the government would make any decisions on his medical care and i would have to fight to get the right but with this in place it just needs the doctor to deem him incapable of making decisions and it will kick in without any issues. i think at least the you need to have the medical part set up then the Doctors would have to consult you about his care and would not be able to just take his word for it4
