I hope Mr SA is feeling better today and not causing you toomuch extra work.

Morning all.
Mr SA isn't up yet but I can hear him coughing 😬
For some bizarre reason I never sleep well on a Monday night. Woke up at 2.30 and struggled to get back to sleep. I don't know if it's because I have the Mr M delivery at 6am and it's at the back of my mind. Got up at 5am, read my book with a coffee, did my Spanish learning and packed away the Mr M shop all before 7am.
It's raining this morning but forecast to be dry by 9am.
To do list:
Book the older cat in for her booster
Clean the bathroom
Ironing
Check for surveys
Make Mr SA's slow cooker chicken
Tidy bottom end of the garden (weather permitting)
Sort out seeds - see if anything needs planting
Take the dog on the park
Today's exercise will be dog walking, a lunchtime bums & tums session and resistance bands tonight. Aiming for a minimum of 15,000 steps.
Tonight's dinner is an old favourite - harissa prawn orzo

Just catching up. You had doing your nails on your list a few pages back and I thought, good for you...can't see an entry that you did them...may have missed?
Maybe, every to do list should include something wholly for yourself? Just a thought.
Have a good dayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Have a good dayI do try to include me time every day. I really enjoy the exercise classes I do plus I make sure I sit down with a coffee and read twice a day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
DD's nurse arrived this morning and couldn't manage to take blood. They always have problems finding a vein - Mr SA is exactly the same it must be in the genes. They're not allowed to make more than 3 attempts apparently so he phoned the hospital and she had to go all the way there for a blood test. Anyway everything is fine.
Mr SA rang the doctors and they wouldn't prescribe him antibiotics without being seen by a doctor. I didn't realise he was phoning to ask for antibiotics. It transpires that (surprise surprise) SIL had spoken to him yesterday and pressured him into asking for them. I've told him it's not surprising he's a bit wheezy and is coughing after having double pneumonia. I wish she'd stop interfering 😠 He's going to see how he feels in the next couple of days and if he still feels rough he'll try for an appointment.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
There's an old farmer's saying "rain before 7, dry by 11" that's fairly accurate. Hope the sun shines for you later.
Did Mr SA phone the GP? Hope he hasn't worsened, health-wise.What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?1 -
Sounds like SIL needs a stern talking to. When I had pneumonia, I coughed for weeks after and it took me a long time to feel right again. Antibiotics won't help unless he still has an infection. What helped me most was sleeping propped up & having a humidifier in the room with eucylptus oil in it. Also constant honey, ginger & lemon tea.

SIL is a blasted menace @Sun_Addict! Her sole contribution is as a hassle merchant!! I know you'll be on top of it but what is the plan for getting her back in her box? Citizen's arrest?!1
