Did Mr SA get dehydrated in hospital it does seem quite a common thing.

Is Mr SA drinking enough water? Dehydration and water infections could be the cause of his confusion. Hope he improves soon and DD. I imagine she doesn't have much appetite after everything she has had done to her.Making the debt go down and savings go up

This must be so tough for you. Hopefully both of them will improve over the next few days, the confusion will go and the scan will be good news.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Confusion isn’t unusual for Mr SA. I don’t know how much water he drank in hospital I know they frequently topped up patients water jugs but he’s not a big water drinker at the best of times. Now he’s home I keep bringing him a glass every so often. I was going to say he doesn’t seem so confused tonight but he’s just asked if the nurse has gone yet and he left 2 hours ago.DD seemed a lot brighter once the nurse had done his checks. She had some soup and a bread roll this evening. The nurse said the tummy pains are normal after surgery. She doesn’t know what the CT scan is for on Friday. Hopefully they don’t find yet another problem 🤞
Mr SA is getting his new scooter tomorrow morning and DD has another nurse coming to take blood tests. As for me I have the dentist followed by the hygienist -oh joy 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Perhaps you might get a few minutes peace in the dentist's waiting room?
hope both patients have a quiet night meaning you have a peaceful night too.2 -
It sounds as though things are heading in the right direction.
Hope the dentist is okay.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning everyone, happy Thursday.
As mentioned yesterday I have the dentist and hygenist later this morning - ugh! Will be glad when that's done.
The cats got me up early fighting and generally being naughty so I enjoyed some quiet time with my book and coffee then did a fair bit of Spanish learning.
Today's exercise is goal of at least 15,000 steps, strength training at lunchtime and Zumba tonight. Taking the dog on the park will factor in at some stage, might have to be this afternoon with Mr SA having to wait for his new scooter to be delivered and me at the dentist.
Might be a NSD as dentist is covered by Denplan.
Trying another new recipe for tonight's dinner smoked haddock and potato hash. Still got loads of smoked haddock in the freezer from the Lid! offer a couple of months ago. Will add loads of steamed veg to it. Slowly getting back into my usual routine of meal planning and trying new recipes.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Recipe sounds delicious. Hope dentist visit goes OK & new scooter arrives. Your steps put mine to shame!
