That's DD's bloods done, my dentist visit done and Mr SA's scooter had arrived when I got back home. Shame it's pouring with rain as he can't give it a test run. Dentist/hygenist appointments were fine, they always are, I don't know why I get so worked up about them.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I hope the recoveries are continuing well although it does seem its not the end of things for DD with needing an op.
I also hope you're managing ok, well I'm sure you are, but hope you don't feel too bad about things. It must have been a very strange couple of weeks with some tastes of freedom combined with some serious worry and a lot of daily uncertainty. It wouldn't be a surprise if you feel quite unsettled. DD seems quite independent as far as she can be. I don't think anyone in my family would make their own way home from hospital after an op and go to bed without announcing their arrival and expecting at least a little bit of pampering. What ridiculous times they send them home though. My mum has been put in a taxi at 3.30am returning to an empty house at 89.5 -

Morning everyone, happy Friday.
Because I've been WFH for the past 2 weeks (apart from last Friday morning) I have to keep thinking what day it is. It has been an immense help to be able to WFH though.
DD's scan for today has been moved to next week. She did ask this time what it was for and it's just to check where they operated. That's a relief as I started to wonder if something else had showed up. She put some heat on her stomach yesterday which eased the pain so she was able to have something to eat. Hopefully she'll start to feel a bit stronger now her appetite is returning.
The older cat has a vet's appointment this morning. I realised I'd run out of flea and worming treatment for her and called the vet to order. They said she needs to be checked by a vet first even though it's less than a year since she was last seen. Annoyingly her booster vaccination is due next month so I'll have to take her back for that. As the weather looks to be dry today we'll take her on Mr SA's scooter as there's no way I'll be able to get a taxi at 9am they're always booked up for school runs.
I should've been meeting up with my friend today but cancelled as I don't feel comfortable leaving DD and Mr SA at the moment. We will rearrange for another Friday so not a problem.
Today's exercise will be walking to/from the vets, taking the dog on the park and I'm going to look for a nice relaxing yoga type session to do after work before I have a long soak in the bath. Not had time all week for a bath so it will be very welcome.
Making a stir fry for tonight's dinner. The smoked haddock hash I made yesterday was really tasty and there's some left for lunch today.
In money news yesterday was a NSD and I had the monthly statement from 0ct0pus saying we're £300 in credit which will now build up over the summer as we're using less energy than the monthly payment at the moment.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
