I’d banish Mr SA to his bed with tv on for the day (or week) since he is so poorly.Has dd recovered yet ?January spends - £587.585

I think I would be stopping all food for Mr SA and telling him to lay down quietly with no tv, in case he may have the same virus, or if he is feeling well he can help out
unlike you I am nasty like that and however annoying, he cannot help the way he is.

Sorry to hear you still have the dreaded lurgy. Hope you feel better soon. If I was you I'd be resting rather than WFH. I'm sure they can do without you for a day or 2. Your body & health are more important than any job....as I found out the hard way once.

This is the downside to being set up with all the equipment to WFH. They definitely don’t expect employees to work if they’re not well. I certainly couldn’t work if I had to go into the office or if I had a physical job. I’ve got a pretty quiet day so I’m just tidying up odd bits of admin. Promise I won’t work too hard 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

The good news is I feel much better at the moment. Quite weak but then I’ve barely eaten anything since Sunday. I had a very small lunch with no twinges afterwards. Hopefully I’ve turned a corner now 🤞
So much for making a meal plan for this week 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

Will the meal plan wait till next week? I hope you have enough in that's stomachable (is there such a word?) for now.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I realised how much of the food budget is spent on Mr SA when he was in hospital for 9 months. I’m quite cheap to run in that respect. A bag of lentils, a couple of tins of chickpeas and some veg and I’m sorted 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
