I had a nap at lunchtime, thought I felt a bit better so had just one slice of dry toast, made me worse so not eating anything else now.
CC has been cleared, it was a biggie as the holiday balance payment was on there. Added 4 days of payments to the 1p saver challenge and moved my survey money to the survey pot. All spending pots are ticking over nicely halfway through the 4 week budget period just need to have a couple of weeks where I don't spend much I think.
Today is NSD 6 as my planned trip to Lid! hasn't happened. We can manage until tomorrow's Mr M delivery anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

I’m pretty certain I have norovirus I feel like I’ve got flu on top of everything else. I managed a full day at work but only dealt with the urgent stuff.I can’t believe Mr SA was asking what I was doing him for dinner. Apparently he fancied fish fingers and chips. Had to break it to him we don’t have fish fingers until tomorrow and he should be grateful for whatever I made given how I feel. He had pie and chips in the end because that was on the meal plan for him today. The smell of cooking is making me heave.I finally got around to watching the first episode of Happy Valley and enjoyed it. Hopefully I’ll get time to catch up with it all.Tonight’s dinner is a can of lime and lemonade 🤣
I’m going to watch TV in bed when I’ve cleared away the dishes. I’ve already been round the house disinfecting all the touch points to try and help prevent DD catching it on top of Covid.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Catching up with Happy Valley and the lovely James Norton sounds just like what the doctor ordered SA!Hope you can get that lime lemonade to go flat - swear by it for what ails you.
would some of that yummy soup lie easy on your tum? Or a stock cube soup broth maybe? You need a break SA - you cannot be expected to look after others if you are poorly yourself. Is there any family who can help till you are back on your feet?

SA, does your local health board have anything like this https://gloucestershirecarershub.co.uk/i-need-a-break/ that you can access? They might be able to organise someone to pop in on your OH during the day for the next few days to give you time to recover. And they have lots of longer term support options, even helping people organise short respite stays and buddy systems for other carers to support each other.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January7

I know its a bit late now but would it be worth having a couple of frozen meals in caase you are poorly again. Mr SA might be able to manage the microwave with instruction or even if you had to do it you could just chuck it in and leave it to do its thing.

Sorry you are unwell SA. I second the idea of having some frozen ready meals you or DD can stick in the microwave for Mr SA given he seems to be totally reliant on you for food.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
