Happy Sunday 🙂
The dog got me up before 6am! She had her breakfast then went back to bed. Then the cats wanted feeding and letting out. I sat reading my book with a coffee making the most of some Mr SA-free time. He’s up now and has announced he’s got an upset stomach, not what I want to hear 😐
I’m going to spend some time in the garden today, can’t do too much as the garden waste bin is almost full and the council aren’t recommencing collections until 1 April. I can get an hour of tidying up done at least.Going to do a meal plan for next week using the new cookbook. I’ve already picked out a tomato and basil soup recipe for work lunches.Tonight’s dinner is trying a new recipe from The Green Roasting Tin - sweet potato & mushroom polenta with tomatoes. This will use up some polenta I bought ages ago.It will be NSD 5 today. Also will be cashing out survey money later.
I’ve hit my 900 day streak on Duolingo so have 3 days free of the upgraded version 🥳
Exercise will be dog walking, gardening and a yoga session later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

I had a good tidy up in the garden before lunch so it’s looking much neater now. The weather has been glorious today, could really feel some warmth in the sun.Cupboard of doom mark two has been tidied. Living room and bathroom cleaned. Two loads of washing dried outside and ironed. Swapped the winter cushions in the window seat for more summery looking ones.Had some pizza leftover from last night so I had that with some salad. I also have leftover Prosecco for tonight 🙂
All the pets have been wormed. The cats aren’t happy they hate the back of the neck stuff. The younger cat keeps looking at me as if I’ve tried to kill her 😆
Soup is in the soup maker it smells gorgeous.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Well done on the cupboard of doom! I've got one of them as well that needs looking at as I think it was before the pandemic that I last cleared it out properly!Good idea on that pension of Mr SA's. A couple of years ago I tried to find out whether I had had a pension from a firm I worked for when I first got married eons ago! The company had been taken over but the website still pointed me in the right direction. I wrote to the trustees but it transpired I'd never paid into the scheme so wasn't due anything. It was a good idea to find out though. Only cost the price of a stamp. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Cashed out £12.89 from QM so over my target of £10 🙂
The polenta thing I made tonight was ok but remembered why it had been relegated to the back of my cupboard, it’s a bit bland. I have another portion left for tomorrow’s dinner but will add some pesto to it for flavour I think. I won’t be making that recipe again.Didn’t get all the things done I wanted to do today, just ran out of time. It’s been a productive weekend overall so happy with that.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Sorry to hear about your work colleague upsetting you.
well done on the cupboards of doom - I've got one of those to tackle this week.
I hope you get a nice surprise with the long-lost pension.

Morning all, happy Monday.
I feel absolutely dreadful this morning. I woke up at 4am with griping pains in my stomach and feeling very sick. I've had a slice of toast and some ginger tea for breakfast but still feel terrible, I can't even face a coffee and I love my coffee in the morning. I'm going to WFH rather than take the day off sick but will finish early if I don't feel any better by lunchtime. I don't know what's caused it but the polenta is being thrown away plus the portion left from yesterday because every time I think about it I feel 🤢
I need to do my Monday budget check and clear the cc balance. I don't think any exercising will be happening today or any eating the way I feel right now.
