Your SIL must be on another planet - good to hear you closed her down. The only thing I can think of is self-delusion. She has convinced herself he has lots of care and you have lots of help so its ok for her to do nada.
So glad to hear that both are on the mend. Whilst I hope they recover quickly, I also hope they stay in hospital for a sensible time for both them and you, especially you.
Hope. you have a restorative weekend ( I can't say restful or relaxing because that isn't you !!) x4 -
Morning everyone, happy Saturday.
What a beautiful sunny start to the day. Gutted I missed the Northern Lights last night, I was asleep. Saw some beautiful photos taken locally. Would’ve had a brilliant view being so high up.Had to let the cats out at 4.30 am as they were being really naughty especially the young one.Weigh in Saturday and have lost 1.5lbs. So that’s my holiday gain gone. Must be due to stress as I’ve just been grabbing whatever is quick to eat, although it has been relatively healthy.I want to have a hospital free day today. I have loads to do. I don’t plan going until tomorrow. SIL tried to make me feel guilty but I reminded her I also have DD in a different hospital, why should Mr SA be prioritised! She reckons she can’t go as she has her grandchildren staying but if she’s that concerned she could leave them with hubby for an hour, she lives very close to the hospital. I’ve told Mr SA he can’t expect visitors every single day.I want to nip to the big Mr T with the soft plastic recycling then do my ClubFit class. I really must clean/tidy the house, get out my summer clothes and put thick winter clothes away. I always leave out a few warm clothes just in case.Going to make a veggie lasagne for tonight’s dinner to have with some salad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

Your SIL has a flaming cheek @Sun_Addict! She plainly feels guilty but does indeed need to mind her own business! Or help regularly...that's a good way to get rid of guilt. On the other hand, you- as ever- are utterly awe-inspiring. Love Humdinger xx3

I agree with everyone about SIL. You can’t just be a fair weather sister and pop up when you feel like it and still expect to be taken seriously! She’s either in or she’s out…and she has chosen out 😖Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
