Thank you all. Mr SA has a pester pot and I have a fritter fund 🤣
WFH today. The Mr M delivery has been and all packed away.
Exercise: dog walking later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight. I had another go at the hooping class last night and I'm definitely keeping the hoop going for longer than I was. I need to keep practising though.
Food: the free Lid! mini pizza for lunch and trying a new recipe for dinner Vegan Hotpot with Sausage and Lentils
To do: clean the bathroom, ironing, Spanish learning, a couple of surveys. Not doing very well with surveys this month.
I have a meeting tonight at the local pub for the park voluntary group I'm part of. I could do without it to be honest but I didn't go to the last one and feel I ought to show my face this time. I'm always glad I've been when I make the effort. We meet with the local councillors and we're definitely making a difference between us so very worthwhile.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I remember deliberately damaging a hideous pair of school shoes because I wanted new ones. I was about 14 & had already tried losing them & refusing to wear them. I would say that's a pretty standard manoeuvre when trying to wangle a new item, lol.

Ha - every time one of those meetings comes along you say you'd rather not and then always end up enjoying it!
I also remember trying the "it got damaged" approach with an item of clothing I didn't like as a child. It didn't - as I had hoped - get replaced. It got safety-pinned back together very noticeably and I had to continue wearing it. I was never fool enough to try THAT trick again!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Definitely sounds like MR SA damaged his bag on purpose just to get a new one. The devious part of his brain is obviously still working ok.Making the debt go down and savings go up

That's Wednesday almost done. The worst part of the working week is behind me 😁
Worked in the office until just after lunch and just doing another hour or so to make my day up.
The meeting last night was very productive so I'm glad I went even though I didn't feel like it. I didn't get home until 9.30 though and I'm usually sound asleep at that time! Of course when I got home I was too hyped to go straight to bed so sat watching TV for an hour. Knock on effect was it didn't seem like 5 minutes until it was time to get up for work. I did consider changing my WFH day but decided I'd regret it come tomorrow so went in the office. Got soaked walking in. The office was really busy, much busier than usual and very noisy.
Went to Lid! on the way home and claimed my free sourdough loaf. I won a muffin on the super spin, finally something I'll pick up as Mr SA likes them. Also bought another of the £2.99 herbs in the terracotta pot.
Tonight's dinner is spice roasted veg with salmon.
Today's exercise is the walking to/from work and Zumba at 6pm.
Mr SA's bum bag has arrived and he's pleased with it, thank goodness. Am@zon have amusingly called it a f@nny pack so I'm annoying Mr SA by referring to it as that 🤣
After moaning about not doing well with surveys I got a flurry of them last night including one for £8 that only took me 20 minutes so I now have a balance of £25.01. Still got another week to get it up to the £40 a month I aim for.
