We're "do nothing for valentines" people as well - it's all got so commercial now - even to the extent that you rarely see it referred to properly as "St Valentines day" now - it's just another thing to get people to spend money - or at last that's how it feels to us.
ROFL to the cat pooing in the bath - although that's just one step away from persuading them to poo directly in the loo, surely!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

We are firmly in the do nothing for valentines camp as well. We had steak for dinner and that was that.3

From someone who got their Valetines flowers last wednesday in case they forgot I suspect I may well be in the camp of don't spend just because. Although I did get a nice meal last night I suspect it was more because his stepson needed to treat his wife & Wednesday was a usual stepdad food day. Definitely not complaining. It was a very nice meal.4

I got a card, and I cooked a favourite though not particularly extravagant dinner. My OH regularly buys me flowers - it's always been his thing - but not because a holiday date suggests themLD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

We buy each other cards, but that's it.
My cat always pooed in the bath too. At least it's easy to clean up!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney2 -

The cyclops ex stray pooped in the bath this week, but he does pee down the plug hole so I can see his logic.

Way better than on the stairs when your owner does not wear slippers (or socks). Poor girl was very unwell. But getting down the rest of the stairs with unmentionable on your toes was a challenge.
