I must admit I was a bit disappointed with Ald! They no longer stock the nice beetroot burgers, Lid! still sell them but Al's were nicer. Anyway I got what I went for, apart from the burgers, and recycled the soft plastic so don't need to go to the big Mr T tomorrow.

10,000 steps in total there and back. The dog was being a pain on the walk back, stopping to sniff every inch of pavement and walking very slowly. I ended up putting her on Mr SA's knee on the scooter or we would've still been on our way home now.

Had the monthly bill from Octopus and we are now down to £344 credit. However the heating hasn't been on much at all over the last few days while it's been warmer so hopefully won't be digging into too much of that credit next month.

The internet is definitely loads better since the engineer visit yesterday. He replaced the old box on the wall, which was the original Diamond Cable one from many years ago, plus new wires leading into the box.

  • I was just being tempted by the M&S Mother's Day beauty box and thought of you. I then remembered that I need to go through the remains of my stash and see what I actually need!

I miss the beetroot burgers, with the occasional flip into mushroom burgers.  My local one hasn't had them for quite some time now.  There are several other things that they no longer seem to have too.  I once tried some of the Plant ones & frankly thought they were disgusting.  I have been trying to avoid meat as my DS's doctor suggested a veggie diet.  We aren't far off already with the most meat being about 50gm in a meal.  I am going to have to have a serious menu rethink.

@badmemory the Lid1 beetroot burgers are nice just not as nice. The G0sh ones are really good. I don’t like the fake meat ones either, I want my veggie burgers to be made of actual vegetables.
