Just delved deeper and it says the code isn’t compatible with large hot drinks. So I’m blaming it on Gr£ggs last week who told me I could have a large drink and therefore led me astray 🤣
Between Gr£gg's large hot drinks and L!dl's muffin discounts, we are sorely tempted...

    Morning (just!)

    WFH today.

Mr M shop delivered and put away before 7am. No missing items or subs. This week's freebie was £1.50 off if I bought something toiletry related so bought a bottle of bubble bath for £1.15. As I was putting it away I realised there wasn't actually that much food as I'd taken advantage of the 25% off 6 bottles of wine to stock up on Cava/Prosecco plus the red wine I like is on 3 for £15 😆 Then I get 15% off thanks to DD.

I got a text from VM this morning confirming an engineer's visit on Thursday. I assumed it was a scam text as I hadn't booked one but DD said she'd booked it. Thankfully I've swapped my WFH days this week to Tuesday and Wednesday so should they need to switch off the internet I won't be here. DD will be here to explain things to the engineer, apparently the internet keeps going down late at night when she's gaming. I must admit it kept cutting out yesterday and I was booted off my live hooping class so many times I gave up in the end.

I've swapped my WFH days so I can meet the friend I swap books with for a drink and a book swap at lunchtime.

Today's exercise was dog walking this morning, bums and tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.

I had planned to have a portion of veg lasagne with salad for tonight's dinner but turns out there isn't any veg lasagne left in the freezer so have fished out a portion of veg ragu to make a bolognese with.

Housework is giving the kitchen a good clean after work. I really need to come up with some sort of housework plan/rota so I can pull most of it in during the week and not have to play catch up at the weekend. It's trying to fit it all in between work, exercise classes and cooking that's the problem.

  • That sounds like an excellent shop 😁
Glad you've got a nice social occasion lined up
  • SA I'm completely with you on needing some sort of plan for bits and pieces of housework stuff through the week. Problem is by the time I get home most nights all I really fancy doing is getting tea sorted then collapsing in a heap for a few hours!

Very sad news that Steve Wright has passed away 😢 I grew up listening to him and Gary Davies on R1. He was only on the radio a few days ago.

I've finally got to the end of your diary.  I'm in absolute awe of how much you manage to do each day and how well you handle all the challenges Mr SA throws at you.
